Okay, so here I am getting ready to post more deals during a few minute school break here (we homeschool) and my girls start playing pretend (which they do very well!). Anyway, apparently they are shopping for clothes for their families, and my 5 yr. old says to the 6 yr. old “let’s go to Kohl’s and hit the sale!” My 6 year old responds with, “wait, let’s look through the magazine for a coupon – you know we can’t go without a coupon.”
I turn around laughing and the 6 yr. has a purse hanging off her arm and is literally flipping through the Kohl’s ad!
It just makes me laugh so hard! They sound just like me, but at least they will be great home economists and coupon moms!
Do you have a funny kids and couponing story? We would love to hear it!

We plan on homeschooling our little girl when she is ready to start but for now she is 19 months and a GREAT shopper 🙂 She spots the “poocon” in the store for me and she likes to hold them. When I get home I show my husband all the great deals and the price of each item. Last week I was visiting my parents and my daughter pulled an item out of our walgreens bag and said “Dollars!!” LOL What can I say, she gets excited by a deal too! 😀
