We had “Family Economics Day” today; we will soon be telling the story of exactly what it is and how we work it 😉 But in the meantime, the title will have to suffice as we are excited to share our most recent grocery shopping trips.
We enjoy and “budgeted” weekly lunch out on Family Economics Day. We first headed to Carl’s Jr. for lunch it was me and the 4 kiddos. I ordered a $2.99 combo with coupon from our local mailer and the kids each got a .89 burger and a large fry to share. The bill came to $8.54 for the 5 of us for a full lunch = $1.71 for each of us. We typically have our lunch day for the 5 of us at around $10 or under!
