Check out this really unique, fun, creative wall display using artsy glass plates! I love this! What a fun idea!
This is my friend’s mother’s house and she posted this on her Facebook wall. Her friend from TheBlackPumpkin blog came over to her mom’s and started hanging these up without a pattern or plan, just on the fly! It’s gorgeous!
It has character
It has personality
It is classy
It is chic
It is definitely unique – even if the idea is replicated because it would be a unique set of plates
It is artsy
It might not be a design style for many, but for those of you that like it this, what a GREAT IDEA!
This would be so easy to do and quite affordable. Many of us have plate type knick knacks around our home. But if you don’t you can pick up pretty plates for .10. .50 or $1 at thrift stores, garage sales, rummage sales, etc.! You can then have a very chic, unique and thrifty home kitchen decor design! Or if you have a set of dishes that are special to you, hand me down, etc. What a great way to display them and enjoy the memories!
What do you think of this DIY decorating idea? Would you do this?

Yes.. Love the plates and could use old ones in memory of.
Thanks

Love it! A modern twist on an old idea. I have plates on the wall in several places in my home. I’ve used the glue-on plate hangers and the stretchy ones. Another idea that works great: a big dab of hot glue and a paperclip as a hanger. I only had one fall, out of 30, and it fell on a bed. Not enough glue the first time.

I like this! It’s a way to use old china that you love, but have no place to store.

LOVE IT!! Would also LOVE to know HOW they got them to hang up there!!

I do this as well, and LOVE it! The creativity is endless! I use the 3MM sticky velcro strips to hang all my plates. I’ve never had one fall, and I have concrete floors in my apartment!
