What an awesome DIY idea! Chalkboard menu project that is very practical, cute and pretty easy to make!
Basically, you just need a board, tape, chalkboard paint and finishing designs! You could also paint the board before the chalkboard squares if you wanted!
Well, this board was done by Crystal over at Fussy Monkey Business! She said that she gets compliments all of the time when visitors come by – she would have many orders for them if she made them to sell. But instead, she shares how she made this one and it is quite simple!
Using blue painters tape, just figure where you want your squares and tape the edges around to create your squares.
Then spray with the chalkboard spray paint. We have used the Chalkboard spray paint a few times and it is awesome. We like the spray better than the paint on. With the spray paint, you will probably have to do a second coat.
When it is dry, then remove the tape and then finish with the decor you want!
Crystal made her own vinyl letters.
