Have you ever tried making homemade pizza bites? Well, I have a secret to tell you….it’s incredibly easy. So easy that it is quite silly really! But to those that consume and enjoy, they will think you spent a lot of time and made a lot of effort in making these! They are delicious too!
Now, I am going to show the super easy way and trick to make this in super fast speed mode, but you can also make your own homemade dough, whole wheat dough or even a gluten-free dough.
To make your own dough, just follow this recipe for Fococcia Bread and then use it as a Pizza Dough and then you can follow the same recipe using whole wheat flour or this Gluten-Free Flour to match it to dietary needs! Obviously making your own dough will require a bit more work, but the good news is that those that probably wouldn’t normally be able to have with the common ingredients, now can with the modifications!
How To Make Homemade Chicken, Spinach and Artichoke Pizza Bites
Ingredients needed for Homemade Chicken, Spinach and Artichoke Pizza Bites:
- 2 Cans Pillsbury Classic Pizza Crust Refrigerated Dough (or the homemade versions linked above)
- 2 Cups (1 package) Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Half 12oz Jar Artichoke Hearts (or more to your liking)
- 1 10oz Can of Canned Chicken Breast
- 1 Bag of Fresh Baby Spinach
- Butter for brushing on top (melted)
Instructions for Homemade Chicken, Spinach and Artichoke Pizza Bites:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
- Roll out the dough from both cans and cut into 40 rectangles
- Place artichokes and one of two pieces of spinach in the center of cut dough pieces
- Add about a half teaspoon of mozzarella cheese and chicken on top of the artichokes and spinach
- Take another piece of dough and place it on top, pressing down on each side and sealing with a fork
- Repeat with all the pieces and place on a non-stick baking pan
Brush with melted butter - Bake for 13-15 minutes or until golden brown
- Serve with your favorite pizza dipping sauce!
