It is now time to evaluate where you are at and then find the second thing (like day #11) that is robbing you of a productive day.
So…. Be Intentional Challenge #17:
Find and Fix The Second Thing Sabotaging Your Day
Now that we have been doing this for a few weeks, you may start to notice that some things are really a bother to your day and not allowing you to be productive, organized, efficient and run smoothly throughout the day. Identify what that is! We shared with you what the first things were that were sabotaging our day, including a t.v. show and what we did to fix it.
Well, let’s look for the second major distraction or issue in our day. Perhaps it is too much time on Pinterest, or Facebook or chatting on the phone or something that just so easily seems to steal your time away. We are not saying get rid of it, but we are saying identify it and find a way to cut back on it or control it so it is not controlling you. Each family member can sit down and figure out what is affecting them personally to not allow each of you to get to bed on time, wake up at the same time and all of the other 14 challenges.
Obviously there are some things that are excusable – but find the things that you can control and change it! Take an honest look and then find an honest solution!
You will feel so much better once you can figure that out. The other benefits will be that you can actually accomplish those things you want to do!
As the rest of the month carries on, we have some helpful financial, frugal and home challenges to help you get the 5 categories listed above in order in your life! We will be creeping into February just a bit before we finish and before we start February’s theme and challenges!
One final thing….. we also have a Facebook Group where you can engage in discussions, receive encouragement and talk to others that are participating in the challenges too for more ideas! Head to the Be Intentional with The Thrifty Couple Facebook Page HERE and ask to join us there! You can also invite friends and spouses too!
