I wanted to share this year’s winning fudge recipe with you! This has become our children’s favorite fudge and everyone that has tried it raves about it!
It’s been the first fudge to leave the fudge platter at all of our events in the season. The best part is that it is so unbelievably easy to make but seems like you spent forever making it. I have many people begging me to make them Snowman Fudge!
The ingredients are common ad easy to find and frugal!
- 1 12 oz. bag of White Chocolate Chips
- 1 16 oz. tub of Rich Vanilla Frosting
- 2 cups of mini marshmallows
- Optional: sugar or coconut to sprinkle on top for freshly fallen snow effect
The video shows how to make this in an instant with these ingredients:
And I can also list the steps here for you too:
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl for 60 seconds. It will not look like they are melted, but as you stir them when they come out, they will continue to melt. You do not want them burning, so you shouldn’t need to melt for more than 60 seconds, but if you do, just do 15 seconds at a time. They do burn easily.
- Pop the frosting in the microwave for 15 seconds to soften and make it easier to stir. Then add it to the melted chocolate and mix!
- Fold in 2 cups of mini-marshmallows.
- Pour this mixture them in an 8×8 pan covered in foil that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Spread to be as even as possible.
- Then, you can sprinkle with either sugar (for a sparkly snow effect) or coconut flakes (for big flaky snow effect) if you would like.
- Place in the refrigerator for at least 1-hour. Overnight is even fine. It just needs to be at least and hour. You can also speed up the process of hardening by placing in the freezer.
- Take it out and cut them into the serving sizes you want! They will store in the fridge for many days or in the freezer for many months.
It’s that simple! Enjoy our family’s favorite fudge!
This is also perfect for a winter party (not just christmas) or even a Frozen Birthday Party as an additional treat.
If you want to make them look like snowmen even more, stack them up and use snowman pieces to decorate. I got this little kit from Michael’s. They are like small button size. It just makes for a fun display.
