Thanks for this great post! We are expecting twins in the fall and needed to buy another one of these monitors. We used it with our older son a few years back and it gave me such peace of mind since he was a tummy sleeper. This is a great deal!

Thank you for sharing your experience Amanda! We hadn’t seen a monitor like this before and really thought this was cool! I am glad to hear that it works well and that this is a good deal (it appeared to be a good deal from our cross-referencing research that we do before putting a deal up!)
Congratulations on your twins, what an exciting time and blessing!

We have used AngelCare monitors with both of our kids and I would strongly recommend them. With my son (who is 3 1/2 now, we stopped using the monitor when he turned 2 and moved into a toddler bed) we had a few false alarms because he would lay sideways at the very top of his bed and the pad under his mattress couldn’t detect him. When we got pregnant with my daughter (she is 15 months now) we bought another AngelCare monitor, this one came with two sensor pads and we love it! Both of my kids are belly sleepers and if we didn’t have the AngelCare monitors I never would have gotten a good night’s sleep. We paid a little more than $100 for ours, it came with two sensor pads so you get better coverage, the monitor that stays in her room and two wireless sound monitors (they also tell us the temperature in her room). They are worth every penny!

LOVE,LOVE my Angel care monitor. I have used them with all 4 of our children. We have 4 children under the age of 5 1/2. I also bought the more expensive one that came with two parent monitors, but I’m sure this one is just as good, and is definitely a great price. It really gave me peace of mind, and allowed me to rest at night without worrying. It can actually detect the slightest movement such as your baby breathing. My youngest is 7 months, and we still use it on her. As Jamie said, you will get false alarms as the baby gets older and starts moving around the crib, but usually the beeping will cause the baby to move just a little, and then the monitor will stop once it picks up movement again.
