Here are the in-store deals so far this week. All we can say is WOWZA for the week! There are some AMAZING deals when you combine multiple ways to save. We have tried to make the steps as clear as possible, but if you are confused about anything, please leave a comment for us to help answer your questions!
We try to get a shortened list out on Saturdays that will include Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS, Babies R Us and Walmart and any other deals that we know of going on. Then on Mondays we will update this post to include any extra coupons that came out and the diaper deals for Target, Kmart, Dollar General and Shopko!
PLEASE NOTE: The format of this list has changed to be easier to use, but all of the same information is here just as before.
We have implemented a new printable list feature for your convenience. See our previous post for a tutorial on how to use the printable list.
A Few Tips When Using This List:
- The deals listed include coupons that are available for everyone to utilize now (i.e. from the newspaper or printable), but be sure to check your stash of coupons as you may have others that you have collected from mailers, friends, past promotions, etc. and some that could have a higher value from these sources!
- The cheap diaper deals listed are the top ways to maximize, assuming you are using the highest possible value coupon listed below – the final prices will be a little higher if you use a lesser value coupon.
- The dates in parentheses next to the diaper coupons are the expiration dates of the coupons and those coupons are found in the Sunday newspaper inserts from Smart Source (SS), Procter and Gamble (PG) and Red Plum (RP). The dates show the month and day that insert was in the newspaper – for example: 8/1 = August 1st Sunday newspaper.
- The coupons that are highlighted are the printable diaper coupons from all over the web that are available to print now. These can change frequently! Click on the highlighted areas to print your coupons.
Check our Diaper Size Chart to see how many diapers are in each type and size package to figure your best cost per diaper! Please note that this chart is continually being updated and added to continuously!

This past week I bought the huggies slip in diapers gave them my $3.00 off coupon but my register rewards never printed. I questioned the store and spoke with the manager and he said since I used a coupon the rr wouldn’t trigger to print and therefore I didn’t qualify for my 2rr. I returned the diapers and asked for my money back and he subtracted the coupon from the 8.99 diapers and refused to give my coupon back.

Oh Jamie – we are very sorry to hear about this. The manager is completely incorrect with out the Register Rewards work. Combining coupons with the register rewards is HOW you save at Walgreens. In fact, they themselves encourage coupon usage with their Register Rewards deals. Here’s a link to a picture from this week’s ad showing this!
There would only be one legitimate situation in which the register reward would not print (others are mistakes on their end!). The situation in which you would not receive one is if you used a previous register reward from the same company on this purchase.
For example, these Huggies are a Kimberly Clark product. If you have gotten a register reward in the past from Kimberly Clark and then tried to use it on this transaction, then it will not print another one. That register reward is to be used on items other than Kimberly Clark.
So, if this wasn’t the case, we suggest doing three things: 1. calling Walgreens corporate and complaining and “turning him in” for not giving you your coupon back and how he did not rectify the situation by helping to make sure your RR printed when you were doing a legitimate transaction 2. Carrying a copy of Walgreens coupon policy with you so that you can show them that they are incorrect or a picture showing them that their own ad will even encourage it! 3. read our article on YMMV – unfortunately, the cashier/manager is the #1 reason your transaction will or will not turn out as planned.
If it makes you feel any better, our local Walgreens is NOT coupon friendly, mostly because they don’t understand their own policies and question everything.

I have come across similar situations like what Jamie described… I have found Walgreens to be the drugstore with the most hassle. It has to be a *mighty good sale* (and very straight forward couponwise) now for me to even bother going… I DEFINITELY prefer Rite Aid and CVS over Walgreens.

Hi Thirfty Couple,
I’m actually not a big couponer but seeing how the match ups are done for you, I may just have to join the saving party. Thanks for sharing.:0) Karen

Hi thrifty couple,
First I want to say thank you for taking the time out to post this valuable information. I’m new to savings being as i just had my first child. We are still using newborn he is only one month, i am going to try amazon but id like to see how manufacturer coupons would be handy to me at stores. I would like to save on wipes, newborn or size1 diapers…
coupons i actually have are:
$1off one pampers diapers,
$1 off one pampers wipes 60ct or larger,
$1.50 off one pampers diapers and one pampers wipes,
$3 off any one pampers swaddlers or cruisers,
$3 off with purchase of both pampers diapers and wipes (Target),
$3.50 off both huggies 30ct or larger little snugglers or pure and natural and 64ct or larger baby wipes
It would be a great help of you can break down my best bet on diaper and pamper deals at which store..target, rite aid, or cvs.
Thank you so much in advance!!!

Hi PrettyMadi, I am assuming that you just have one of each of the coupons above? Also, does your $3 off both Pampers wipes and diapers Target coupon have size restrictions? If not, here’s what we would recommend (deal at Target):
Target has a gift card promotion where if you buy 3 Pampers jumbo packs, you will receive a $5 gift card!
Pampers Jumbo Packs sale for $9.49.
Scenario:
Buy 3 Jumbo Packs of Pampers diapers any with at least one being the cruisers or swaddlers for $9.49 = $28.47
AND Buy 1 Pampers tub wipes for approximately $2.49 = $30.96
Use the $3.00/1 Cruisers/Swaddlers = $27.96
Use the $1/1 Pampers diapers = $26.96
Use the $1.50 both Pampers diapers and Wipes = $25.96
Use the $3/1 Target store coupon (you can stack a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon) = $22.96
Final Price: $22.96 ($5.74 each item) plus receive a $5 Target giftcard. When considering this gift card: $4.49 each item
Congratulations on the new baby! They are so much fun!
