This week’s grocery shopping trip took us to Smiths (our local Kroger affiliate). We have not shopped at Smiths for nearly 6 weeks, in fact, we hadn’t gone to a store in nearly two weeks. We were just getting our produce from our co-op and didn’t need to get anything else (our milk is a natural/organic milk that is delivered every 4 days). It is nice to not HAVE to get groceries!
But there was a VERY hot item that our family is picky about, and it was at a jaw dropping low price (without coupons) so that was the big draw to shop this week! And in the process of picking up our HOT item, we snagged quite a few groceries too! It ended up being quite a trip!
Here is a picture of the first round (it is a very crammed picture and hard to see all of the items) but they are there:

We then used $49.85 in coupons which made our final total $77.45 for all of the above! This was a 73% savings!

I did a similar shopping trip this week to King Soopers (Colorado Kroger). I found Annie’s coupons next to the Optimal Wellness magazine in the produce section, so 22 boxes of Annie’s were FREE!! 12 of them are being donated to the food bank. I saved 80% off my bill, since they double coupons. It’s a great sale!!

AWESOME! I wish ours doubled. And what a sweet find on the Annies! I emailed them a few months ago as we love Annies products and asked if they ever put out coupons because we want to know where to print or get them and they said they didn’t in an effort to reduce “their carbon footprint,” so your find is amazing!
Thanks for sharing!

I’m gonna have to go tomorrow and look for the Optimum Wellness tomorrow, thanks!
