Getting a movie from Redbox for free (can almost always find a free code online) and cooking a nice dinner at home. That’s my idea of a nice cheap date. Hubby would rather go to the movies than stay home but we’re about to have 2 little ones so we better get used to staying in! 🙂

Get free babysitting from my Mom. Drive to the library where we can take our time browsing, and pick some good books & movies. Go to Applebees for their 2 for $20 menu (an appetizer & 2 entrees for $20). Head home to snuggle in bed with our free movie, visit, and SLEEP IN! LOL =-)

My hubby and I will skip the movies and buy a DVD instead. We can watch it over and over, pause for bathroom breaks ect and pay about the same for one movie as two tickets. We have our own drinks and popcorn, and just wait until our 11 month old is asleep.
Speaking of our 11 month old, she JUST started teething and I really need a Sophie the giraffe. *hopeful look*

Our best thrifty tip is to exchange childcare with friends. If we have to pay a babysitter we feel like we can’t spend ANY money on our date.

groupons are the best to make dates thrifty. But I shall be brutally honest – sex doesn’t cost a dime and it never gets old and you can never have too much!

Hello, people. Are there people here who prefer online dating to real dating? Honestly, I’m among those people. I like chatting online without leaving my home and my comfort zone. If you’ve never tried online dating, I recommend you do it now. Read about it here at wcgkc.org, it might be just right for you.
