Our son loves playing with his cars and he is doing a good job of training his 10 month old brother how to play with cars.  How do I know this??  Well, the other night, I was playing with our 10 month old son on the floor and there were a couple of cars on the floor.  So what do you do when you see cars on the floor? Well you drive them on the floor like a civilized human being of course.  He just looked at me with his big beautiful blue eyes like “really mom?”  I didn’t know what it was that was so exciting either and boys can play for hours with them.

So, I happened to sweep my hand across the floor and hit one of the cars that crashed into another car.  What was the result – a little bit of a giggle…… So, taking note of this reaction, I decided to make a deliberate crash of the cars head-on.  Here I went with two cars facing each other and one in each hand.  Started the countdown 3..2..1..CRASH! Boy did he belt out a full-bellied laugh.  Over and over again I crashed the cars and that sweet 10 month old laughed so hard he fell over a couple of times.

I knew his 5-year old brother was the one responsible for this.  So we will let them crash their toy cars because they are apparently a very fun toy.  Even better, those little Hot Wheels cars are pretty affordable to add to the collection!
