It’s day #5 of the 30-day organization challenge. I am so excited about the results around our home. And other than Day #2, it hasn’t taken a lot of time out of my day, but it is getting done slowly, but surely.
I love it when things are organized!
We are going to continue in the kitchen.
Day #5 Challenge – Organize the Lower Cupboards in the Kitchen
We did the plastics and storage yesterday, which may have already hit one of your lower cupboards, but now it is time to get the rest of them done.
I will just take you around my kitchen!
Glass baking cupboard before!
Glass baking cupboard after.
Pots cupboard before.
Pots cupboard after – I love the lid rack. I had purchased this on clearance a while back, but it is nice to have the lids on top and the frying pans stacked on the bottom back (with the steamer on top) and my pots in front.
Skinny pan cupboard before.
Skinny pan cupboard after.
Towel, rags and apron cupboard before
Towel, rags and apron cupboard after.
Now this next one is going to be a doozy! Please tell me I am not the only one that has one of these…. that is a cupboard that you intend to be designated for something, but lots of stuff gets thrown in?
Well, that is what this cupboard is. It is a cupboard by itself next to the fridge, not in the central cooking/baking area of the kitchen. It doesn’t get used much, but it gets easily junked.
Miscellaneous cupboard before.
Miscellaneous cupboard after. Maybe now we will use the placemats and cookbooks more often. 🙂
That’s all there is to it for today’s challenge! I feel amazing in my kitchen already. How about you?

I’m loving your 30 day challenge – though I am already a few days behind. One suggestion though – and you may already have this somewhere that I haven’t seen… Can you put a link or something so that we can pull up a list of each day’s challenge with a link to that particular blog so that we don’t have to scroll way down to get to earlier days if we missed one 🙂
I need to do a lot of decluttering of some areas, so on days that I don’t have much time, I’d like to tackle one of the quicker tasks. Great blog and website!

I will talk to Alex and see how we can get something like that set-up! So glad you are joining us and love to hear about your progress! I will keep you posted on the other!
Debbie
I have limited space and am constantly reorganizing to make things fit and recycle the things not being used. I have no “junk” cabinet! This organization challenge has been so easy. Nothing to redo/straighten out.

Is under the Kitchen sink included in this task or do we get to that later?
Cassie
Yes, you can also include under the kitchen sink!

I have already organized my kitchen cabinets. And with only two of us living in our home, they don’t get messed up very much. But this is a good time to clean out the dust and wipe inside the cupboards.
