We had to share this fun and frugal idea with you. How about a life-size gingerbread house? There certainly is not as much sugar involved! This is just so, so cute.
What we love about it is that you can recycle a cardboard box and make a fun playhouse with your kids, for your kids to enjoy over the Christmas break. They can decorate their own life-size house using many things found around your house.
This particular house was made by Sheena from Keeper of the Cheerios Blog. She has some amazing ideas that she has shared with us before, including her stuffed animal zoo and stuffed animal barn.
This idea revolutionizes Christmas playtime!
It’s quite easy to make one yourself. Sheena has laid out all of the step-by-step plans on her site and shows you how to make this fast and frugal.
Would you make something like this for your Christmas celebration?

Seriously one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen! I have been saving diaper boxes and could totally use them to make a gingerbread house village that toys could fit in! 🙂

This is the cutest cardboard turned playhouse I’ve ever seen. I don’t have kids, so I think I’ll just make it for my cats 😉
