Legitimate Survey Companies can be a great way to earn a little extra. They will no way replace a regular income, nor can you live off of them, but you can pay a bill or two each month.
Some are better than others. I have done surveys before to help pay bills. One thing that I find a little frustrating about just survey companies is that the surveys for my demographic (younger mom, homemaker with kids) is slim and I spend a couple of minutes each survey just to find out that I don’t qualify. I still earn, but it is a bit more of an effort.
Well, last Friday, I joined a new company called Send Earnings. I joined for two reasons 1. They were going to give $5 just for signing up! It is a sign-up bonus that they are running right now, and 2. I always like to try these and see which is worth putting more of my time into.
Now Send Earnings has more than 1 way to earn money, not just surveys. In fact, I earned $6.53 in just a few minutes of signing up!
I also like the fact that this one is very easy to use, that I can track my earnings real time and they provide to-do lists (they are optional tasks) and you get paid for each individual task, but you also get paid a bonus for completing the list!
This was my first list that I completed in around 15 minutes!
I quickly did these tasks on the list:
First was to activate my account. It was an email I received after signing up and I got the $5 bonus.
I then did the first survey which paid me .50 (my second survey was $2.25, but of course this will vary every time!)
I then did my first search which paid me a few cents. I searched for The Thrifty Couple of course 🙂
I then confirmed my first paid email when it arrived (It took time after I joined to receive this, but I spend 2 second clicking on the “confirm this PaidEmail” button.
So I got paid for each individual task and since I also completed the list, it gave me a bonus of .50.
This was my balance after doing 15 minutes of activities after signing up, then it added another .01 for a total balance of $6.53 the first day. I then didn’t come back to this until this morning.
This was my new current list. I was on for about 25 minutes this morning. I took 1 survey and opened emails and I ended up with a balance of $10.87! I haven’t completed the above list yet as I only had a few minutes to spend, but I was surprised how quickly my balance is climbing!
Now, you will receive several emails and for each one that you open, you receive .02 (you can sign-up using your coupons, offers and spam email address if you have one). I am finding that they send around 5-10 a day. But this takes a click and I get paid. These emails are from advertisers offering products and promotions, but I just skip through the advertisement quickly (unless something does catch my eye, which it hasn’t) and then quickly click on the “confirm email” button at the bottom and then I get my .02! It looks like this!
You can request payment after your balance reaches $30. If you only earned $1 a day, that gives you $30 a month. For us, $30 will cover a utility bill each month with just a few minutes of my time each day! That’s great!
So here’s how to get started. Head to the Send Earnings site HERE and complete the form that looks like this:
Then you will receive an email that you need to activate (and then get your $5 bonus)!
And then do tasks from surveys, opening emails, search the web and more!
I think you will like seeing your balance increase in real time like I do 🙂
Again, I do want to emphasize that you will not get rich doing surveys, replace a job or anything of the sort. But if you spend 15 minutes a day doing the random tasks, it will add up to pay a small bill or two. Second, you will get a lot of emails (especially since you get paid .02 for each one you open and confirm) and so you might want to start a second email address to keep these in order and out of your regular inbox. It’s up to you, but a suggestion!

It may be slightly less because the probably have a small processing fee (about $3) for the check like inbox dollars – the website looks identical except for colors even using the “paid email” slogan. I had joined inbox dollars last year and earned 1st check and earned a second check. We are out of the country now (military family) so ill I can do is the paid email since surveys don’t apply for our of country. Thanks for the tip 🙂

Thanks for that information. I will update when I find that out too, but at least it seems easier to earn 🙂 Thank you for you and your family’s service in the military! We truly appreciate all you do!

Hi! I just check this site out and was going to sign up, but after reading their privacy policy I felt like they stated too many contingencies for sharing my information.
Which wouldn’t have bothered me too much maybe, but they want my actual street address in order to send me a check. What if I start getting crazy amounts of junk mail or something!?!?! Haha 🙂
I’m probably just being a little too cautious, maybe you could tell me what you think about it and silence my caution. 🙂
Thanks for posting about these kind of opportunities. I’ve been looking for something easy that I could do to help make a little more to go toward the bills. I can’t do much, but these types of things are what might work out for me. 🙂

You do get a lot of emails – possibly 5-10 a day (I’ve been getting about 5 a day, I just quickly open and confirm and then open the next, etc.), which is why we suggest a different email address if you don’t want to use your normal one (but these are the paid ones where you get .02 for each one you open and confirm). But the reason why they need to share your information is to have emails and surveys sent to you that are more specific to you as you will be receiving emails from other companies other than SendEarnings and you have to authorize them to do that. All survey companies are this way. The only way that they can pass on opportunities to you is if you allow them to share your information with the companies who are looking for opinions on their products or services, and then once you take the survey/read the email – then they pass the results too 🙂 They personally are not the ones looking or your opinion or to have you read their emails, they are just the middle-man for other companies that sell products or offer services. The big paid survey I took (for $2.25) was from a manufacturer of refrigerators. I don’t know which company it was (as they don’t want your opinions to be affected by knowing who it is for), but they wanted to rate my thoughts on different brands and features that they use for their research in developing the latest and greatest refrigerators 🙂 You are authorizing them to share it with their partners too, so you could get other non-paid emails from their partners, but I don’t know for sure if you will get those emails – but that is a possibility with some of these companies. BTW- they do have pages with offers, I always click “no” on all of them as those offers will turn into emails from those companies trying to sell you their product/service and is a tactic to get their names in front of more people, but not part of the surveys. But if you stay in surveys and paid emails portion, then that helps to minimize that (or by clicking “no” on all offers). Hopefully that helps 🙂

I wasn’t concerned about the emails – just the fact that they would have my actual “street address” and would have the right to share it with other companies.
I do have an alternative email address, it’s just the street address thing that bothers me. I would prefer that they don’t have absolutely all my info.
But like you said, I guess they want to know as much about you as they can to send you the most relevant surveys.

Oh – I apologize for misunderstanding. This company also give free products to try on behalf of the companies that utilize their database of users. I am sure that the address is used for this purpose and the payment 🙂 I haven’t received free product opps yet, but I have only been with them for a few days!

Just a heads up on this one. Have been a member for years. They start out great and then the emails dwindle to almost nothing. So bookmark and remember to go back to the page or you will lose all the profits.
