Just like we shared last year, Amazon stands several feet ahead of the other e-commerce players during the Christmas season. Call me what you will, but I can’t rave enough about Amazon.com’s shipping policies when it comes to Christmas and when coupled with the amazing sales – they truly separate the men from the boys when it comes to e-commerce! I mean really, how many other companies do you see offering same-day shipping on Christmas Eve (in select cities) with a fee of only $3.99 per item?! I’ll save you a bit of work. The answer is none. It almost makes me want to sell our home, move to one of those cities (many to choose from!) just to order on the 24th of December to see the item delivered to my doorstep. Laugh if you will (Cassie did) but that’s seriously how awesome I think their shipping policies are. Besides, I am a guy so last minute shopping is my middle name.
Now don’t forget if you’re bummed about not having Amazon Prime that you can get your FREE 3-month trial just by signing up for Amazon Mom (see our post explaining all the awesome benefits of Amazon Mom) – which despite the name is truly open to anyone who is “responsible for caring for a baby or young child”.
