Here are the Diapers Deals in-store for this week (8/19 – 8/25/12). This is a great week to get some good deals at some of the drugstores, with CVS being the best where you can get their value packs of diapers for $6, which makes the jumbo packs only $3. This is a great price and even if you don’t use them, the are a wonderful price for donation to local pregnancy centers or those who may need them!
We have implemented a printable list feature for your convenience. See our previous post for a tutorial on how to use the printable list.
A Few Tips When Using This List:
- The deals listed include coupons that are available for everyone to utilize now (i.e. from the newspaper or printable), but be sure to check your stash of coupons as you may have others that you have collected from mailers, friends, past promotions, etc. and some that could have a higher value from these sources!
- The cheap diaper deals listed are the top ways to maximize, assuming you are using the highest possible value coupon listed below – the final prices will be a little higher if you use a lesser value coupon.
- The dates in parentheses next to the diaper coupons are the expiration dates of the coupons and those coupons are found in the Sunday newspaper inserts from Smart Source (SS), Procter and Gamble (PG) and Red Plum (RP). The dates show the month and day that insert was in the newspaper – for example: 8/1 = August 1st Sunday newspaper.
- The coupons that are highlighted are the printable diaper coupons from all over the web that are available to print now. These can change frequently! Click on the highlighted areas to print your coupons.
Check our Diaper Size Chart to see how many diapers are in each type and size package to figure your best cost per diaper! Please note that this chart is continually being updated and added to continuously!

Hi- I am having my first baby in January. I have started stocking up on diapers when there are good deals. However, I was wondering what a good price is per diaper. Are you able to tell me how much I should be paying per diaper to consider it a good deal? Thanks!
Cassie
Hi Julia – That is a good question. Last week we were just discussing how we are going to start rating the diaper deals based on how good of a deal each diaper deal is from a 1-5 star rating with 5 being the best. What you want to aim for is a diaper price that is 40% less than the normal cost. 50% or better is a super time to stock-up. As there are literally dozens of prices and possibilities, it isn’t super easy for me to say .xx should be your target cost as each brand and even the types of diapers within each brand or going to vary significantly. But on this diaper size chart, you can see the average regular price and then from there compare the deals and see if it hits that “at least 40% off price for a super deal” as well as find your target price for your diaper type and size. These reminds me to finish writing an article on this topic to help everyone understand diaper prices better. But for now, hopefully that helps. The diaper deals for this week will be finished in a few hours and then you can check those for the best deals this week then 🙂 Here’s a link to that diaper size chart: https://thethriftycouple.com/baby-guide/diaper-size-chart/
Please let us know if you have more questions and watch for the current diaper deals for this week, and those articles to explain more as well as a star rating on the diaper deals soon too! Have a wonderful day and thank you Julia for your question!
