Mamapedia is offering a sweet deal for moms, moms-to-be, as Christmas gift or baby shower gift. Purchase a voucher to use on Seven Slings for $0.00! Yes – nothing. You will go through checkout and your cart will show $0.00. During the checkout process, you will need to enter a cc number, but you will not be charged anything for this transaction.
You can then use this voucher that is good towards the purchase of a Baby sling carrier up to $39 on SevenSlings.com. You will need to pay shipping as this is not covered by your voucher that you bought for $0.00 and your shipping is $11.95, so in the end you will end up paying $11.95 shipped!
Just head over to Mamapedia and look for this deal under “national.” The FREE vouchers could be gone quickly!

Be wary of these types of deals- there was an issue with Udder Covers where people claimed that somehow their CC#’s were stolen months and not used for several months after the transaction. It was a similar “Free Product” deal. If they have a PayPal option it should be used instead.

Your blog has a lot of good ideas. But as with the last persons comment, how secure is this “free” deal. I am sick of having to cancel my debit card and get a new one issued. I want to get one of these baby slings for my sister for her baby shower.

Hi Heather, As far as this deal goes on Mamapedia’s end, we know it is legit. We have ordered 4 times through Mamapedia and quickly received our item. We do not have experience with Udder Covers, so I can’t vouch for the previous comment, but my guess is that they are offering the voucher to by a sling and doing this as a “free” promotion for the purposes of advertising and getting their name out there. When you actually go to check out, you will need to pay shipping which is $11.95, and I am sure it does not cost that much to ship it, but that is probably where they are making a bit of money 😉 So essentially the sling will cost $11.95 shipped – which is actually really good! We have not made the final purchase yet through this company and paid the shipping yet as the voucher is sitting in our account…. waiting for me to find the right mom to gift it to 😉 So I can’t testify on the final end, but Mamapedia has always followed through.

I just received one of these slings from an earlier deal and all seems to be fine. I will watch my credit card account to make sure nothing is strange in the next few months. My only complaint is the slings were worthless. I measured myself accordingly and can’t even begin to fit my 6 monther into the size sling they suggested I purchase. It’s way too small and probably cheaply made. Honestly, I’d save your money and get one of these from a store where you can try it on!

I participated in the recently run promotion for a free sling from sevenslings.com. I tell you it has been nothing but a hassle. The sling never came and getting a refund is a joke. They keep telling me that my address doesnt verify on the usps website and that i need to provide them with a new address. First I dont need to provide any new address since I want a refund and second Ive lived at the same address for almost 10 years and have NEVER had an issue getting packages delivered. They are just stalling. Be very wary of this company. I wish I had known they were they same company and Udder Covers before I made the purchase.

I just purchased one of the baby slings. I saw the offer in this months edition of Parents mag. I went directly to the SevenSlings website. Hopefully, I will not have any issues with the sling or my CC. I will be watching my CC tho…
