Summary: The total AFTER sales and markdowns but BEFORE coupons and Mega Event was $106.37. The Mega Event took off an additional $15 for 30 items = $91.37. We then used $28.69 in coupons which made our new total $62.68. Since our monthly budget averages to be $240 a month, which is about $60 a week – this is not bad for all of this stuff – with $12 being a special Salmon treat dinner for us! We only went $3 over our weekly budget – but we are not eating out this week so we can enjoy the Salmon dinner, so that more than makes up for it! Just by using coupons, we saved an additional 41% over the weekly sale prices and probably well over 60% on the regular prices – especially considering that the salmon was an additional savings of $12 alone.

That is awesome! I went to Kroger this evening. Before all discounts, my total was $151. With all the discounts and coupons, I spent $71.50 and saved $79.50! That was the best I think I have ever done!

I love seeing what you do because it gives me ideas for my next trip thanks for posting. I did pretty well at my Smiths trip too but none of my kraft cheese’s had the peelies. Someone must have taken them off. =)
