Walgreens Shopping Trip – Saved 86%, Average of .84 Each Item!!

We went to Walgreens this week for the first time in a while!  I was most interested in getting Neturogena and John Frieda products this week! It was a success – the shelves still had some 😉

Here’s a picture of what we bought:

• 3 John Frieda Root Awakening products for $5.00 each = $15.00. Then used 3 $3/1 SS 5/16 – $9 = $6.00. Then received a $5 RR = final is $1 for 3 or .33 each!!
• 2 Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Gel Tabs sale for $3.00 each = $6.00. Then used a BOGO printable (no longer available) – $3.00 = $3.00. Then received a $1.00 RR = final is $2 for 2 or $1.00 each
• 3 Neturogena products on sale for $5.99 each = $17.97. Then used 3 $1/1 SS 6/13 = $14.97. Then received a $10 RR = final is $4.97 for 3 or $1.66 each!!
• 1 Gillette Proglide Razor for $9.89.  Then used $4/1 PG 6/6 = $5.89. Then received a $5 RR = final is .89
• 1 Uniball pens 2 pack clearance for $1.09. Then used .50/1 from mail sample = final is .59
• 2 packs of nylons on clearance for .40 each = final is .80 for 2!

Summary: For all of the above items, we ended up spending $10.25 after all discounts for 12 items = average of .84 each item!!! All of the above items would have been $70.88 (according to the savings on the receipt based on regular prices, not the sale prices listed above) – so this is a savings of 86%!!
