Well I am just now going through the ads and starting to point out great deals that we find (due to lost time baking yesterday!). We will be baking more things today (continue to check back on our progress), but wanted to let y’all know about some great deals first. I am excited to find in the Rite Aid ad that Huggies finally went on sale! I told you about the Rite Aid Huggies Deal several weeks ago HERE, and mentioned that I am sure they will go on sale before the buy 5 get 1 FREE deal ends. Well, they finally did and they did the last week of the FREE deal!
Here is the best way to maximize this deal (I am not sure if Pull-ups are included at your location, but I have included coupons for those in case, maybe call to see), I am going to give you a few steps and each step will drop the price even lower!!! If you take all of the steps to maximize this deal – you will have a $36.05 OVERAGE – there are 5 possible steps!
STEP #1: Here are some coupons:
- $2.00/1 Huggies printable HERE (print twice)
- $3.00/1 Pure and Natural and SS 11/15
- $1.50/1 Huggies Diapers SS 11/15
- $1/1 Huggies Pull-ups SS 11/15
- $2/1 Huggies Pull-ups printable HERE
- $3/2 and $1.50/1 Pull-ups printable HERE
- Also, look through any coupons you may have gotten in the mail from Huggies!
You will need to get to a total of 5 packs to purchase in order to receive your FREE one. I would first check your Rite Aid SCR status HERE to see how many you need to buy as this deal as been going since September and you may have already made some qualified purchases. If you have never registered to be a part of the Rite Aid Single Check Rebate program – go HERE to join – it’s FREE and one of the easiest rebate programs!
Try to use the highest value coupons first, like the $3/1 Huggies Pure and Natural. If you were able to use 5 of these, this is how the deal would work out:
5 packs of Pure and Natural for $8.99 x 5 = $44.95.
Then use 5 $3/1 = $15. $44.95 – $15.00 $29.95 = $5.99 a pack, plus get one FREE! This makes them $4.99 a pack.
TO GET THEM EVEN LOWER!
STEP #2: Go HERE and register at RiteAid.com and you will be able to print a coupon for $5/25 purchase (a total of $50 in Rite Aid coupons – make sure to print as you will only get 1 chance per email address).
Adding the $5/25 coupon drops your total down to: $24.95 for $4.16 a pack.
STEP #3: VIDEO VALUES
If you have a little bit of time – another way to maximize this is to watch video values!
There is a video to watch for $1/1 Huggies and $1/1 Pull-ups (if they are included) HERE. I called our Rite Aid and you can combine these with the manufacturer’s coupons. You will only be able to print 1 of each of the coupons, but at least it is another $1.00 off! The video is 30 seconds of your time (once you log-in).
Then, if you can spare a few minutes more and watch enough videos to give you 20 total credits (most videos are 1 credit and 30 seconds), then you will be able to print a $5/$20 purchase. You cannot use this at the same time as the $5/$25 purchase, however you can break it up into 2 transactions! Go HERE to start watching!
Here is how that would work out:
First transaction:
3 packs Huggies Pure and Natural $8.99 x 3= $26.97 (many times you can use the $5/$25 before coupons – depends on your store).
Use $5/$25 = $21.97
Then use 3 $3/1 = $9 off = $12.97
Second Transaction:
2 packs Huggies Pure and Natural $8.99 x 2 = $17.98 (you will need some filler items to total $20.00 – check Money Saving Mom HERE for ideas).
Use $5/$20 = $12.98
Then use 2 $3/1 = $6 off = $6.98
Then use 1 $1/1 video values coupon = $5.98
Then you qualify for the FREE pack (this will come via mail with a voucher for a FREE pack)
Total Spent for 6 packs: $18.95 or $3.15 a pack!!!
STEP #4: AUTOMATIC $5 GIFT CARD AS LONG AS YOU REGISTER YOUR RECEIPT FOR THE SINGLE CHECK REBATE HERE!
PLUS – Rite Aid has the Gift of Savings promo going on right now – details HERE! If you spend between $25-$50, you get a Rite Aid gift certificate for $5 – this transaction would qualify! Thanks UtahDealDiva for the reminder!
Factoring in the FREE pack of diapers and the $5 back in Rite Aid gift certificates: Your total would be $13.95 for 6 packs = $2.32 a pack!!!
STEP #5:
ARE YOU READY….. for yet 1 more to way to maximize? That is by transferring prescriptions! When you transfer each prescription (up to 2) you can get a gift card for $25 to pay for this deal! With the maximum of 2 transferred, you can get $50 in total gift cards! If you do this, you will have major OVERAGE and can use all of that extra on extra deals this week found at Money Saving Mom HERE!
To get more details and the form to transfer your prescriptions go HERE!
Be sure to log-on to Rite Aid’s SCR as soon as you get home to get your voucher for your FREE pack and your $5 Gift of Savings credit – go HERE to log-in!
SUMMARY: You can see the cost of each pack of diapers at the end of each step. If you complete all 5 steps, you could end up with a $36.05 overage!

Katarina
Wow! Thanks for doing the math! Are you sure you cannot use the $5 off $25 and $5 off $20 coupons in the same transaction? I ALWAYS do! Is this against Rite-Aid policy and do I have really awesome cashiers?? A couple times I also combined them with the $3 off $15 coupon and got tons of free toilet paper! Might want to check it out and save yourself the hassle of 2 transactions. Great work though!

Caregivers market place rebate get back .75 per pack. That’s $4.50! http://www.caregiversmarketplace.com/FrameSetup.asp
ThriftyCas
Katarina, Awesome if they do, maybe they will for others. I usually try to post what I know will work, however, each store may have different interpretations of policies. Just ask your cashiers and they may let you! Thanks for the tip!
Thanks Abagail – I have heard that only certain Huggies packs are allowed. If you know more, let us know!!!
Carie
This is such an awesome post I had to share it with my readers! Great job!!!

Huggies Pure and Natural do not qualify for Caregiver’s Rebates. If you get Rite Aid’s emails, they are offering $25 gift card on up to 4 transferred prescriptions. I wonder what they’ll do if I go in with the new ones I got today.
Lorie
Ugh! I’m so frustrated. I’ve been trying to register for the Video Values program & it says “registration from validation failed.” I’ve tried several different things & it just won’t work. AND I can’t seem to find a $5/$25 coupon. I have a 4yo in pull-ups (for naps & at night), a 13mo, & one on the way so we need all the help we can get with diapers. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!
Lorie
Ok, I figured it out. They want something in each line even the second address line. Looks like a programming error that needs to be fixed.
Holly
I don’t see 5/25. Does this work if you have already registered?
thriftycas
HI Holly, It is a one-time deal per email address. Here is a link to a set of Rite Aid coupons with the $5/$25 that I just found for you to use. It is good until 12/31. Go HERE to print! Enjoy and have fun! I am excited to hear about how everyone is loving this deal and helping our budgets while taking care of our beautiful babies!!
Kathy
Thanks so much for the heads up! I saw your deal posted on Money Saving Mom and wanted to check it out. I already bought some diapers this week so I did not do the deal but it did remind me that I needed my 5th package of diapers for the free one and to use my Rite Aid Video Values coupon. What a great deal you came up with!
latosha
you can do the caregivers marketplace and get back .75 a pack also
celeste owens
Watch the videos and earn a $5/$20 coupon.
Lorie
Thanks for the link for the $5/$25 coupon. I’m still having trouble with the video site. I watched the videos & have 20 points but now it wants some sort of confirmation code that I’ve never received. It keeps saying it’s sending it to me but, so far, I haven’t received it. Very annoying.
thriftycas
Hi Lorie, I would email them at support@adperk.com and see if they can email it to you directly, or what they can do. I am not sure of the problem, that is the first I have heard of it. Let us know what happens 😉 Thanks!
aysha
awesome site…i was directed here by moneysavingmom and am super happy i found u! we arent rite aid shoppers…but this deal was too good to give up. i just had a baby dec13 and def need some newborn and size 1 diapers, so i tried to stock up. i had a few $3 coupons, coupled with the $2 and $1 coupons. i ended up also using the $3 coupon for the gentle skin cleanser which was $8 but BOGOF, and the $5 off $25 coupon. all in all, i spent $30 for 5 diapers and skin cleanser, $10 was a gift card i had from god knows when, so $20 oop. now i need to send in for my caregivers rebate…less $3.75, plus the online rebate for the 6th pack for free, less $9, plus the $5 rebate for spending $25 in a single transaction…ends up being about $2 for 5 packs of diapers and 1 skin cleanser. woopwoop! thanks a bunch!!
thriftycas
Awesome Aysha! Great job and thank you for sharing!!!
jenn
can’t really use the gift cards toward this as they will not allow you to use them when you get them. only two types of diapers were on sale at our rite aid the pure and natural were 11.99 pull ups 12.99 the goodnites were on sale but very few in pack maybe 15. but if you have some good coupons for the ones that are on sale then it may work out better for you
Lissa
I can’t get the coupons to print…it first was telling me I needed to install the coupon printer, I did that three times…now it is telling me I have already printed the coupons…I haven’t printed coupons in months… how can I get it fixed or find coupons that I can print??
thriftycas
Hi Lissa, That is a tough one as it could literally be 1 of a hundred problems. I even have trouble printing coupons sometimes 😉 Check our information HERE on coupon print troubleshooting, it may help. Use the information related to the coupons.com. Thanks – possibly check with friends or neighbors to see if they have any coupons they may not be using for diapers too! Get them from where ever you can!
Stacy C
AWESOME, thank you. I just did the deal, filed for my SCR and mailed into Caregivers Marketplace… we are very thankful for your post! We did two transactions 3 packs each.. I used $5/$25 and (3) $1 video value coupons and (3) $2 off MFC = $12.97
I had Grandma come along and did the same transaction and registered for her own values!!! So total was $25.94 – $5 SCR – $4.50Caregivers Marketplace = $2.74 per pack PLUS a free voucher for more diapers 🙂
What an awesome deal :)THANKS for sharing!
thriftycas
Stacy – you rock! Great job!
aysha
we just have to do the rite aid rebate once per receipt right? they will figure out that i spent $25 and also that i bought 5 huggies this month and will reimburse me appropriatly? i havent done this before.
thriftycas
Aysha, Yes, you will just need to go the the Rite Aid SCR and register and then enter your receipt information (i.e. store number, register number and transaction number found at the top of the receipt). If you have more than one receipt, be sure to enter information from all of them, it will then calculate (between all of the receipts) your reimbursement. Once you enter information, it will be a couple of days before it is updated and then you can go back in and check the status. If something is not right from your calculations, then definately call them, however, I have been shopping at Rite Aid on the SCR’s for at least 4 years and have never had an issue with miscalculations. You will request your SCR’s when they are available and they will mail it to you. Find the links to the SCR page in the post, but for more information on how Rite Aid works – go HERE. We love Rite Aid as we stock up on diapers, personal care, household and medicines for cheap there, and their SCR program is really very easy!
aysha
thanks for the clarification. 🙂 happy holidays
