We love to celebrate Valentine’s and my house is all red during that week 🙂
I like to put up my house decorations and I always bake heart shape cookies for my sweet heart, for his lunch bag! I also make all kinds of red cakes and on Valentine’s we either go out for a nice romantic dinner & dance/movie or we stay in and my hubby spoils me with dinner, candles & music! Oh I love him, he is so romantic 🙂

When I’m in a relationship, dinner and a movie is nice–so is getting some flowers and/or candy. My dad always got us girls and our mom heart-shaped boxes of candy, so even though I have boys, I’ve always gotten them Valentine candy.
Kathy T
I usually get candy for everyone and have it at the breakfast table with some special breakfast. Sometimes dh and I go out but lots of times I just fix a nice meal, just depends on our finances at the time.
Kelly S.
I usually get a treat for my little one.

I’m excited to say this is our first married valentines day, so i’m anxious to see what we do! My wishful thinking valentines day would be away at a nice bed and breakfast. No kids, and lots of wine! 🙂
Corey A.
Our anniversary is February 5th so for Valentine’s Day we don’t really do much. We make it special for the kids and let them know we love them but that is about it. Maybe go out to lunch together since we work together but that is about it.
Anna
We don’t usually do a lot for Valentine’s Day. However, it is a great excuse to make cupcakes!
Julie Dunn
We keep it simple. We enjoy our time together whatever we do. Sometimes a nice dinner out or home cooked. Maybe watch a movie. As long as its together!
denise
I always try to make Valentines special with a homemade gift and a great dinner out!
Rachel
Our family likes to have a special breakfast together and exchange handmade cards, usually with candy inside! 🙂
Kathy
It’s too pricey usually to go out to eat so I try to make it special at home. This year I notice it falls on a Thurs. & we have a weekly meeting at church that night so I may postpone it until Friday. I would like to go to a movie, I never thought of doing that & if I postpone it until Fri. that would be a good time to see about using some of the free tickets we have been given. When our girls were younger we would make cookies & decorate the house for when daddy gets home. Then we would use “special” plates (sometimes I would buy Valentine’s plates at the $ store but usually it was my Great Aunt Clara’s plates – until about 5 years ago when I turned those into every day dishes because they’re smaller 🙂 )
Briana
Since my birthday follows shortly after Valentines Day, wee usually make dinner a special together- with more courses than just the usual one! Since we had a little boy 2 years ago, we make him something special now too- just to show that he’s our little valentine. 🙂
Briana
*we, and *make a special dinner together
Yikes rushed spelling and typing!
Sarah
We don’t have a babysitter lined up this year, so we plan on having a regular night at home and putting our little one to bed a little earlier. Then we will order take out and watch a movie.
jennifer horn
We try to go to a nice restaurant, possibly see a movie, but really just enjoy time alone without rushing somewhere.
Lola King
