It’s time for a giveaway! One of you will receive a $100 Visa Gift Card so that you can use it anywhere where Visa is accepted.
We are very excited to be partnering with one of our favorite companies that provides really awesome resources. We have shared their resources numerous times and we personally use their resources weekly to help our family stay on budget and in track.
So, a few months ago, we introduced you to a brand new grocery store savings app called Favado. We had known about it’s creation for some time now as it was being developed by one of our favorite companies: Savings.com.
It is incredibly awesome. We love it! We now use this for our shopping at any store in our area from Kroger, Walmart, Walgreens, Target and more. They have already had 300,000 downloads in the short 3 months they have been up and running. It.Is. Seriously.That.Awesome.
So what is this incredibly awesome app with 300,000 downloads so far?? It is called Favado!
It is a no excuses app to save money at grocery and national chain stores in your area!
Quick Facts:
- Personalized just for you, the Favado money-saving app will help you keep your resolution to save on groceries this year with step-by-step weekly goals from the best money-saving brains in the business. It’s definitely one part of your solution to keeping your 2014 resolution!
- Without using any coupons and just the app to help you shop, you will save 30% on your groceries! 30%!!! How would 30% more in your pocket help you?
- You can save even more if you use the coupons listed – we’re talking 70%+ savings if you choose to use the coupons listed! WOWZERS!
- It’s totally FREE! That’s another reason why we love it and why we have told you about it! It’s powered by Savings.com – a huge online savings company that is known for providing you with coupon codes and discounts for online shopping, so now they have taken it to the next step. Because they have put this together, they have the resources and man-power to make it better than any ol’ ma and pa sales list. There is no way Alex and I would have the time or resources to provide this kind of information to you each week and there is no reason for us to do this since they have this stellar app.
- It’s easy to use! In fact, in 2014, for our home economics classes in our homeschool, I am giving my girls (9 and almost 10) the reins with much of the grocery shopping and have already shown them how to use the Favado app to plan the best shopping trips.
Quick low-down on what Favado does:
- Lists the best sale prices for stores, including secret sales that aren’t in the ad. There are 65,000 stores nationwide, including natural and organic stores!
- Compares the best price on a certain item for all of the stores in your area – for example, you want the best price on chicken? Well, just type in chicken and the prices all around town will pop up, showing you the best deal right then!
- Search for an item you are specifically needing, like toilet paper, and find the best prices this week!
- Be notified of when your favorite items or brands, like toilet paper :), go on sale! Basically, items that you normally buy, receive notification of when they go on sale so that you don’t have to discover it yourself each week! This alone is a huge time saver!
- If you wanted to use coupons, they will show all of the coupons you can get as well as a second “best possible” price listed under the sale price!
- It will save you loads of time, it will save you loads of money!
They are also having a fun January campaign helping you to save on your groceries! There is a twitter party on Tuesday, January 7th at 7 MST. You can RSVP here (note, they are giving away $300 total in grocery gift cards during the Twitter party!)
So you may be asking…… “this is really quite cool Thrifty Couple, but HOW DO I GET IT?!?”
Well, it’s very simple:
- Register FIRST through this link HERE for your free access
- Then you can download from the app store
- And start using at your convenience!
- That’s it!
Well, now that we have the facts out of the way, Favado has a Resolution Solution party going on in January to help households like yours and ours to save easily on the groceries and shopping. As part of that party, they have offered to give one of our readers a $100 Visa Gift Card.
This $100 is just for our readers who enter here on our site! So your chances of winning are pretty great!
And it was totally a no-brainer for us to give one of you $100. We know how much of a blessing it would be for us and so we know that $100 would be a blessing for you too! We also asked on our Facebook page and got an overwhelming response. So YES! Favado, we would love to gift $100 to one of our readers!

I resolve to use less paper. I am changing all my bills to paperless and not printing receipts when paid online. I also recycle printer paper, if I printed something by mistake, I save it and use the other side to print something else. I also try to print on both sides of the paper, which takes longer, especially with multiple pages. I am a teacher, so even at school, I try to copy double-sided or pare assignments down to half sheets to use half as much paper. 🙂
