We save the laundry samples for our traveling, specifically for when we stay in Condos/Timeshare Resorts or camping.
Our last camping trip, while traveling in the car – one of our kids car sick. Thankfully it was the last 20 minutes of the 3-hour trip. But as soon as we arrived at the campground, Thrifty Al (I can’t deal with sick!) was able to throw all of the car seat pieces and her clothes in the campground washing machine. It was sooo nice to be able to take care of it right away with real detergent. With camping, even without a washer you could hand wash cloth items with the samples as a worst case scenario!
The samples usually do around 1-3 loads, which are the equivalent to the $1.00 travel sizes at place like Walmart and Target. For our week long stays at the condo/timeshare resorts, we will take or 3-load sample or two. We do the same with the fabric softener samples. PERFECT and FREE!!
