UPDATE: Kmart is no longer accepting the coupon for $10 off $20 in most locations – you probably will not have success with this deal 🙁 Please see our newest Kmart post here for explanations!
Okay – you know us as The Thrifty Couple, but you might also know that we have a thing for great diaper deals – it might have something to do with the fact that we have changed diapers continually for 6.5 years – most of the time double duty with 4 kids 6 and under.
So you guessed it – we have worked up a new deal scenario to score Huggies jumbo diapers for .49 a pack with 2 new coupons that came out today!
Kmart is now the place to go! Here’s how to maximize and get diapers for .49 a pack!
How to Maximize on Huggies diapers:
- Buy 2 Huggies Jumbo Diapers for $9.99 each = $19.98 (will need a filler item to make up the extra .02 to use both the coupon and get the $3 reward – see the ad HERE for ideas on your filler item for the $3 reward – remember, you can use coupons on your filler item too*!)
- Then use the new $10/$20 purchase at Kmart coupon = $9.98
- Then use 2 $3/1 coupons – $6 = $3.98 (use zip code 63366 if you can’t find it)
- Then receive $3 back in Kmart rewards to use on a future transaction = final is .98 for 2 or .49 each for the Jumbo Packs! This is the lowest I have seen in our 7 year couponing history and 6.5 years of buying name brand diapers cheap!
Here is the screenshot of the ad about the $3 back in Kmart Rewards, and if you click on the picture, it will take you to the ad on Kmart’s site for the details:
You can sign-up for a FREE rewards card HERE and then be able to immediately print a temporary rewards card to use now! UPDATE: A lot of people are spreading around that a catalina will print – it will NOT – you will be very disappointed if you expect one to print! If you read this post just as we have laid it out for you – the $3 reward loads onto your rewards card to use on your next transaction. There are links to the details of this FREE card (much like many other store rewards cards!) as well as the FREE sign-up that you complete BEFORE you go, print your temporary card, then you take your temporary card with you! Hope this clears up any confusion going around!
Hip2Save also has a good explanation of this new Kmart coupon and other possible deals with the $10/$20 coupon!
*Possibly the cheapest filler item that we see is Maybelline lip and nail items at 33% off. You only need .02 more, so maybe find a Maybelline lip or nail item at $1.00 or less.

Wouldn’t two packs of diapers be $0.02 short of qualifying for the catalina?
thriftycas
Yes, which is why it says you will need a filler item. It is also not a catalina, it loads onto your rewards card to spend from there! The link will take you to the sign-up and details on the rewards card program!
Thanks So Much!

i looked up the ad in my town and this page is NOT there. is this regional??
thriftycas
I am not sure – if you search by your zipcode for the ad, you may find it, it is on the bottom of the ads – not with the regular ads as it is a half page insert. It is in the one where it shows “$5 Off When you buy $25 or more of Procter and Gamble products.”
Abbey
Can you earn multiple rewards? I.e. can I repeat this two two or more times?
thriftycas
Good Question! I would ask when you get there – if not, you could do multiple transactions. The ad is very vague about it.
Susan
What about the $5 off $25 of your p&g purchase?
thriftycas
The P&G thing as it relates to diapers would be for Pampers or Luvs. The ad says 1,500 items to choose from, however, it does not show the Pampers or Luvs logo. It would be interesting to find out if someone goes as the Pampers are also part of the $3 rewards – we would just use the $2 off coupons from the PG 3/7. My only question is if they would accept the $10 off $20 coupon AND the $5 off as this might be where the Kmart coupon language would be in question. If anyone goes and finds out – this would be a money maker on the Pampers! Let us know!!!

Thank you so much for the deal! I read this and practically ran out of my house, because my two month old goes through diapers so fast I can hardly keep up! I couldn’t find any clearanced Maybelline, but I did find a coupon on an endcap for one dollar off any Maybelline product! Between the 33% off and the coupon, I got nail polish for 1.67 as my filler and wound up spending 6.41 in each of two transactions, and getting the rewards bucks! I’m so pleased, and baby Robert has enough diapers to keep even him dry for a little while! =)

If you submit rebates to the Caregivers Marketplace, you can also get 75c back for each of the packs of Huggies by sending in your receipt – so I guess this would be a moneymaker 🙂
Tamara
Caregivers Marketplace isn’t including Huggies in their product rebates anymore FYI
D
I didnt think you were able to use any other coupons with this Kmart coupon?!
Renee
That is the way I read the KMart coupon too, D. I wonder if anyone has done this deal and could comment…
Ashley
Caregivers Marketplace no longer gives rebates for Huggies. Just an fyi! 🙂
Andrea
Has anyone tried this because the Kmart Q says it has to be $20 before discounts plus it says it can’t be combined with any other q. I really am doubtful this one would work, but please someone prove me wrong lol! 🙂
Stephanie
Ad doesn’t give the price of the Ester-C but there are $5 coupons from 2-21 SS. I also don’t know Kmart policy and whether they will take 2 coupons on bogo, but might make a decent filler item for your diaper scenario.
Would love for someone to report whether it works so I can send my mom since she DOES have a Kmart 😛
Amber
I did this deal 3 times tonight using the $10 Q as well as the $3 Huggies Qs. No issues at all!!!!
Bev
just called and they said after coupons your total needs to be $20 to get the $10 off

Called our local Kmart (Hamilton, OH)and they told we they were not accepting the coupon. Said somebody hacked in and downloaded coupon on their site. Is this coupon working in other areas?
LISA
Do you have to purchase a specific filler item in order to get the $3 reward or can it be any filler?

I just tried to use the coupon at my local Kmart (Tallmadge, Ohio) and was told that the coupon WAS NOT good for Ohio.
