As you may have noticed, the last few days, we haven’t been getting our posts up bright and early like we normally do. Well, our five kids came down with a cough and cold like sickness on Friday. We’ve been attending to them and nursing them back to health, but it hasn’t been easy being woken up several times at night.
So, we are excited to see that yesterday, we seemed to be on the fast road to recovery and everyone seemed to be getting some energy back and we figured all would be well in a day or two.
Well…. last night, two of the kids, their sickness as moved to their stomachs and we hope and pray that they are the only two, but needless to say, Alex and I were up around 4 times last night to take care of them. So…. we slept in today, because we are tired and as we are trying to avoid the sickness ourselves.
But on a side note, the last time our house was this sick (other than some little colds and tummy issues), we only had three kids instead of five – so many years ago. But that sickness seemed to have built up the immune systems to fight off anything big for a few years – so we are hoping for the same outcome here.
Anyway, we’re still here, just hanging on until we get through this! But we will be rolling out posts the rest of this morning!

I hope you guys start feeling better soon! My husband and both my kids have had colds for close to a week now. No fun. I’m super lucky that I haven’t caught it! (Maybe it’s all the vitamin C that I’ve been loading up on!) Get well soon!

I keep my kids and husband on Melaleuca’s Activate. It saved 4 of us when 2 of us got strep throat. I stand by this stuff. I highly recommend it.

I’m so sorry to hear you are having a rough time. I understand this, we have 5 little ones as well. BUT, for some reason it is me getting sick lately instead of all of them…I am not sure that is better or not. Hope everyone is better soon.
