What We Used To Throw The Perfect Teen Surprise Party (Balloon Time Helium Tank Unboxing and Review)

Balloon Time Helium Tank Unboxing and Review

We successfully pulled up a surprise birthday party for our first, new teen daughter! Our oldest child just turned 13 and we had a fantastic minute-to-win-it type of party. She had over 40 guests and we pulled it off swimmingly, thanks to the help of her friends.

We also had a BLAST decorating and preparing for the party. We had very little time to make a balloon filled room. We used a place that had high ceilings and we wanted her to walk in with the big impact of a giant balloon bouquet in this big room.

To purchase a giant balloon bouquet with 50 balloons was a shocking price in our area! Not only that, but the practical issue of transporting a giant balloon bouquet was a tricky and dangerous proposition. Finally, we wanted balloons at different heights, including ascending 20 feet tall to reach to the ceiling! Yes, talk about a challenging issue if we purchased an expensive balloon bouquet from the local dollar or grocery story.

Plus, we wanted to have balloons tied to chairs all over the room in various heights.

So when we looked at our options, we found something that I think I have seen before, but I haven’t really ever thought about it – your own helium tank!

Yes, we bought our own helium tank to take to the facility and blow up balloons fast on the spot, to the height we wanted and no dangerous balloon transportation.

We also had very little time. We had to pull this all together fast before our daughter got suspicious of our “longer than usual” errand run!

Check out the amazing results of the surprise, the balloons and the party! It was absolutely fantastic, easy, perfect and so practical.

In this video, we share clips from the surprise party, along with the unboxing and a first-time use of the Jumbo Balloon Time helium tank.

There are a couple of different sizes of helium tanks. There is the Jumbo Balloon Time kit that will fill 50 9in balloons for $34.95 at Walmart.

You can also buy the Standard Balloon Time kit that will fill 30 9in balloons for $19.99.

We wanted a TON of balloons, so we bought the Jumbo Balloon Time kit. We also bought extra balloons that were speciality as the kit is an assorted color. But we loved these marbled ones to add to the special effects. 😉

Our Jumbo Balloon Time helium kit filled a few more than 50 balloons and the specialty ones we had were 12in. So I think it is probably safe to say that will fill at least 50 9in balloons.

In addition, the Balloon Time website has a coupon you can print for $2 off, making it that much cheaper and practical of an option.

Finally, when the balloons were the highlight, we really didn’t need much else. I loved this option and can see how this would be an easy solution for not only birthday parties, but weddings, baby/wedding showers, company parties, BBQ’s, family reunions – ANYTHING! And you can buy the helium tank as far in advance as you need, saving you time with one less errand to run the day of your event because you don’t have to pick up a balloon bouquet on the way!

I recently prepared a party for my husband. The first thing I did was to use various services for organizing a party, decorations, food delivery and even a DJ from the site https://www.partymusicmiamidj.com/ which made it unforgettable
