This is such an easy, great, fun, frugal decor project that anyone can do!  You can use items from around your home and create some special Christmas decor in a few minutes!

We shared this idea on our Facebook page a while back as a source of inspiration, then reader Trudy took that idea and created her own decorations!  They really are so cute and can be hung on walls, doors and windows for a festive decor addition!

The idea is that you take an old frame, paint it, then hang christmas decor from it – ornaments, a monogram letter, other Christmas themed decor, etc.!

To hang the ornaments, monogram letters and other items, you can use wrapping curling ribbon, regular ribbon, string and hang with screw eyes, little nails, push pins, hot glue, etc.

Here’s what screw eyes look like!

Also, the idea of wrapping garland on one side and adding a bow is just extra special touches! This really is a project that you can be really creative with!

It is also something that you can create for different seasons/occasions and hang on your wall – or your front door for an affordable DIY decor idea all year round! So many possibilities!

You probably have a number of old frames around your house or you can pick them up super cheap at the thrift store!

A good decision, but it is better to entrust such things to the masters. When I wanted to update my frame for a purchased painting, I collaborated with the masters of the site https://www.customframingwholesale.com/ who helped me make custom framing of the painting
