THIS WEEK’S SHOPPING TRIP – WALMART 52 ITEMS FOR $39!!! SAVED 62% OFF WALMART PRICES!

January 28 by Cassie 4 Comments

This week was another shopping trip to Walmart!  The last couple of weeks, there have been a few items from each store that we wanted, so instead of running around town, we have gone to Walmart to price match! I was able to go by myself and I was shopping late – another benefit of the Super Walmarts that are 24-hours!

To help me plan for this trip I used the all-in-one list from the Grocery Smarts website and just customized it and it ended up being 3 pages for all of the stores I was price matching.

Here is a picture of what I got: The final total was $38.90 for 52 items!

I used $37.60 worth of coupons from the Sunday newspapers.  If you would like to get the newspapers for the coupons for as low as .88 each, then go HERE for the details!

*Although there is some meat and produce here, wondering where most of it comes from? We buy a 1/4 of a cow 2’xs per year, participate in a produce co-op, and have our milk delivered. I will share more on all of this later and why we do this!

Hi, I was wondering when you did this shopping trip, before Wednesday? I am trying to figure out what ads your price matched because there is no detail on that.
    thanks

I shopped Tuesday night. I have a habit of shopping late the last night of the sale 😉 Like the post states, the price matched items are no longer available, but those items that are not price matched – you can still get those deals.

I used Associated Foods, Smiths, Macey’s, Harmons and Reams.
      Thanks!

Hi, I have one more question. So by the time you post any of your shopping trips, they cannot be duplicated because the sale would have ended, right?
    thanks

No, just this trip. I shop when it is convenient for our family, but I do have posts showing what you can do currently, as well as the link to the Grocery Smarts lists so that you can customize your lists with the things you buy https://thethriftycouple.com/2010/01/27/new-week-of-grocery-store-sales-with-coupon-matchups-120-126-2/. Btw- we love pictures from our readers of their trips – send us a picture! On Saturday, we posted a big shopping trip that has 10 days left on the sale – https://thethriftycouple.com/2010/01/30/smiths-and-kroger-mega-event-sale-saved-70/. Also, most Walmart trips will be off of their everyday low prices to do all of the time https://thethriftycouple.com/2010/01/08/walmart-shopping-trip-filled-with-freebies-and-deals/. This particular one had some price matching! I am not expecting anyone to repeat our exact trip as we all have a different diet. We post the resources to have a successful trip yourself PLUS the results of ours (which may, on occasion, be after the sale ends depending on when we shop). At the start of each grocery store sale ads, we post the lists with the coupon match-ups for all of the items in the ad. This is what you can use to make your own https://thethriftycouple.com/2010/01/27/grocery-store-sales-127-22-with-coupon-matchups-and-our-favorite-deals/.

Thanks for the question and hope that clarifies! Have Fun Saving a Ton!
