Have you ever been oversold on anything? Oh, come, on…please tell me that we are not the only ones who have purchased a product or service that offers way more than we needed at the time? In fact, I know it happens and it happens A LOT because I hear about it from personal stories of friends and I hear about it from comments by readers like you.

As many of you may already know, we have a Be Intentional Challenge that we started a few years ago.  It sounds simple – and in many ways it is – a reminder and practical steps to Be More Intentional in every area of life; but the truth is that its actually a life-changing concept!  And every month, we seem to find something additional that we just weren’t being more intentional about and really apply the principles of our Be Intentional Challenge – with amazing results!

Well, we recently decided that we needed to be more intentional about our cell phone service. This is one area that comes around every couple of years and we walk into the cell phone center, end up spending more than intended on a new/upgraded phone or a new/upgraded service plan  because “we need these bells and whistles,” “life will be so much easier with all of these features,” etc. only to walk away and go…wait…”what do we need this or that feature for? Why do I have this super complicated device to make my life easier? Wait, what just happened?” All with the final realization of “What just happened?” was ultimately another couple of years on a contract.

In fact, this video we saw cracked us up because that is often what it has felt like to purchase/upgrade a phone or plan with our cell phone provider. Have a look and a laugh and check out the Latot Stroller HERE – in fact it’s over the top sweet. 🙂

So NO MORE! We wanted to Be Intentional even in this area of life. We don’t want to walk away confused, upgraded and oversold and locked in more than ever. We want to set a budget, stick to it, pay less, get exactly what we need (and not a bunch of things we don’t) and enjoy great cell coverage, easy plan, easy smart phone and just simply enjoy life with the tool to actually make life easier.

What we discovered was a GREAT option! Total Wireless is a no-contract, pay-as-you-go, cell phone service with straight pricing on phones and service. We walked in wanting to cut this area of our budget by quite a bit and came out 15 minutes later (yes, at Walmart in the electronics department) with a $29.99 LG smart phone and chose the $35 per month service that is unlimited talk and text and 2.5 GB of data. That’s a big savings!

There’s also family plans and more data plans so that you can get exactly what you need for your family without spending more on things/services/bells/whistles that you don’t need.

Here’s an example of the pick-n-choose, month-to-month, no-contract options.

You don’t even have to go into Walmart at all, you can actually just order a phone and a pay-as-you-go service online at the Total Wireless site HERE. You can see all the phones they have from $29.99+ and unlimited talk and text cell service at $25+ and it will ship free too!

We’ve had this phone and service since July and all we have to do is quickly call-in or go online to refill the service each month. It’s also part of the nation’s largest network, which means great coverage too. It is really easy, painless and most importantly – we were Being Intentional because it is exactly what we need and nothing that we don’t!

So, we encourage you to Be Intentional in every area by joining the challenge and perhaps taking a look at your cell phone plan too. 🙂

Please know our continual goal is to provide you good products for a value to help you save you both time and money. Please see our Disclosure Policy for additional information.
