Kroger Mega Event Sale, Spent $49.52, Saved $139.62 Savings of 74%!

We shopped this week at Smiths and hit the Mega Sale Event going on right now! There are some great deals going on this week at Smiths and Kroger (and affiliates) stores. Also, you can see the list from Grocery Smarts with coupon matchups, PLUS see the EXTRA deals this week too!

Here’s what we purchased:

• 3lbs. Apples $2.99 = final is $2.99
• 4.72 lbs. bananas at .55 lb. = final is $2.60
• 1 FIT Fruit and Vegetable wash on clearance for $4.99 = final is $4.99
• 2 Thomas English Muffins BOGO $3.59 = final is $3.59 for 2 or $1.79 each
• 1 Orowheat bread sale for $1.50 = final is $1.50
• 9 Bags Lays Natural Flavors Potato Chips sale for $2.75 = $24.75 – $4.50 Mega Event discount (MED) = $20.25. Then used $1/1 SS 3/14 – $9 = final is $11.25 for 9 or $1.25 each!
• 1 Jetpuffed marshmallows sale for .99 = final is .99
• 4 American Beauty Pasta Sale for .99 = $3.96 – $2.00 MED = final is $1.96 for 4 or .49 each!
• 1 Motts Apple juice sale for $1.49 – .50 MED = final is .99
• 4 Ken’s Salad Dressings sale for $1.99 = $7.96 – $2 MED = $5.96. Then used $1/1 SS 3/7 – $4 = final is $1.96 for 4 or .49 each!
• 8 Ronzoni Pastas sale for $1.25 = $10 – $4 MED = $6. Then used 2 $1/2 and 4 .75/1 – $5 = final is $1.00 for 8 or .12 each!
• 2 Irish Spring 3-pack bar soaps sale for $1.50 = $3 – $1 Med = $2.00. Then used 1 .50/2 SS 3/14 – .50 = final is $1.50 for 2 or .75 each!
• 1 Smart Balance Sour Cream sale for $1.99 – .50 MED = $1.49. Then used $1/1 RP 3/21 = final is .49
  
• 8 Bumblebee White Albacore Tuna Pouches sale for .99 = $7.92 – $4 MED = $3.92. Then used 8 .55/1 SS 2/21 – $4.40 = final is .48 OVERAGE!
  
• 9 Whopper Robin Eggs sale for $1.67 = $15.03. Then used 3 $2/3 SS3/14 – $6 = $9.03. Then received $5 catalina (coupon to use just like cash on next transaction) = final is $4.03 for 9 bags or .44 each!
• 1 Meadow Gold 1/2 & 1/2 sale for $1.79 = final is $1.79
• 2 Sodas sale $1.25 = $2.50 – $1.00 MED = final is $1.50 for 2 or .75 each
• 2 Pampers Cruisers clearance for $4.19 = $8.38. Then used $2/1 PG 2/21 – $4 = final is $4.38 for 2 or $2.19 each!
• 9 Lunchables sale for .99= $13.41 – $4.50 MED = $8.91. Then used 9 $1/1 SS 3/21 = final is .09 OVERAGE!
• 1 Scotch  Lint roller sale for $2.59 – .50 MED = $2.09. Then used $1/1 SS 1/24 = final is $1.09
  
• 1 Scotch Upholstery Lint Roller sale for $2.99 – .50 MED = $2.49. Then used $1/1 SS 1/24 = final is $1.49

Summary: The regular prices were $189.14. The Smiths/ Kroger sales brought my total to $$93.42 (after Mega Event discount of .50 additional off of each item). I then used $44.90 in coupons!!! This brought my new total to $49.52! Yay! PLUS a $5 catalina to spend next time! This is a savings of 74%!!!
