I can’t wait to share my recipe for How to make brownies from black beans idea with you. This is a very special recipe because it solves many problems like chocolate cravings, gluten-free desserts, healthy desserts and so much more!

Do you struggle to find the balance between eating sweets and eating healthy? I am the queen of this struggle. I love chocolate and sweets. That is why this recipe that I have been making for the past 3 years has been my #1, go-to chocolate recipe.

All the ways to enjoy these brownies from black beans:

  • These brownies from black beans are naturally gluten-free, like the flourless double chocolate chip cookies.
  • But they can also be made low-sugar or sugar-free.
  • They can also be made dairy-free with dairy-free chocolate and egg alternative.
  • Finally, they can also be made into a “super health food” by using cacao powder instead of cocoa powder. It’s the same idea behind my Super Foods Hot Cocoa.

It is like the ultimate healthy chocolate treat!

In addition, it is a frugal dessert. The ingredients are common enough, that they are super affordable.

Another benefit to this dessert treat that I discovered was that it is perfect for diabetics by making these brownies from black beans with a sugar substitute. We have treats and meals regularly in our church. This has been one dessert that a few people in our church can eat. I love to bring it bless them with an alternative for them, plus accommodate the gluten-free eaters and those that want a healthier chocolate fix.

In the end, it is nearly like a universal dessert for all, having the ability to meet most any dietary needs and still come out delicious!

Thank you for this recipe! Maybe I’m just missing it, but I see instant coffee in the ingredient list, but it’s not mentioned in the instructions. When/where do you add the instant coffee grounds?

An 8×8 pan is listed in the directions. The pictures look like a rectangle pan. My brownies are still not done at 30 minutes. Not sure what I have done wrong. Just wondering if the pan is 9×13. Thanks!
