Walmart will not allow overage when using coupons. It does not say on their policy, (http://walmartstores.com/7655.aspx), what they do with coupons that are more than the purchase price. This seems to be them only issue I continue to run into at Walmart. At my store, the manager said they will just adjust down the amount, so THEY get the overage when they get paid the coupon amount from the manufacturer. I don’t know if every Walmart is like this or not. I wish they would put something in their policy stating their position.
