The Best Gluten-Free Baked Asparagus Fries

This is the most amazing gluten-free baked asparagus fries we've ever had and we've tried several versions. This is even better than the real stuff - this method makes it enjoyable for all.
Recipe type: Appetizer or Side Dish
Serves: 6
  • 1 full bunch of asparagus
  • 1 bagel
  • 1 TBSP of garlic powder
  • 1 TSP of salt
  • 1 TBSP of Italian Seasoning (may I recommend our homemade Italian Seasoning Mix?)
  • ⅓ cup of Parmesan Cheese (optional)
  1. In an 8x8 pan, mix the bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt and Italian seasoning together. Add Parmesan if desired.
  2. In a separate bowl, add 2 eggs.
  3. Then wash your asparagus and break off chewy ends.
  4. Dip each piece of asparagus in the egg and roll it around.
  5. Then roll it around in the bread crumbs.
  6. Add to a greased baking pan (you can use the 2-ingredient homemade cooking spray)
  7. Bake in the oven at 425 degrees for 8-15 minutes - the reason for the broad cooking time is that some asparagus are quite thin and some are quite thick! So cook until the breading is golden brown and they feel crunchy to the touch.
  8. Serve immediately and Enjoy!
