Enjoy this easy and frugal homemade lotion bar recipe that you can make into any shape and add any essential oils for your needs!
Recipe type: Personal Care
Serves: 12
  • 1 cup raw cocoa butter
  • ½ cup coconut oil
  • ½ tsp. almond oil
  • Lavender essential oil
  • Wilton heart mold
  1. Combine the butter and oils together in a small pot and heat on medium low until melted. Be sure not to boil.
  2. Place heart mold on a cookie sheet and pour melted butter into mold.
  3. Add the essential oils at this time. I would add 1- 3drops per slot, depending on how large the shapes are.
  4. Place mold into the fridge and allow it to completely cool, about 1 hour
  5. Gently pop them out of the mold and store in an airtight container or the refrigerator. The bars will begin to melt in your hands if you hold them for too long, making them perfect for a nice warm oil massage.
