Here's an easy homemade ranch dressing made with common kitchen ingredients to whip up in 5 minutes!

Recipe type: Side
Serves: 10
Ingredients
  • Equal parts of Mayo and Sour Cream (1 cup each is about usually what I do and this feeds our family of 7 for about 2 meals worth of salads)
  • Spices of all types... you can use the ones listed in our Buttermilk ranch, but often I don't have some of these ingredients, so my default spices are a bit of Oregano, bit of Basil and Parsley (or Italian Seasonings) salt, pepper, dill weed and paprika. You can also add a bit of sugar if you want. I just add the spices to taste.
  • Then I also add milk until I reach the desired consistency.
Instructions
  1. Just simply place all of the ingredients in a jar with a lid or a blender bottle.
  2. Shake it up, check it and add any more spices or milk for desired taste and consistency.
  3. Shake it up again and serve!
  4. It will keep in the refrigerator for a few days.... well, I honestly don't know how long it will last because it never lasts more than a few days in our house with everyone eating it!
  5. I like using a blender bottle because it has a nice pour spout.
