If you saw the previous post (HERE) about becoming a fan of Walgreens on Facebook to get a 15% off coupon, well today, you can just print the coupon without needing to be a Facebook fan. Just go HERE to print off your coupon to Walgreens.
We went to Walgreens and used this 15% off coupon. I know that there are a lot of great deals, but it is only a great deal if you need the items, in this case, our focus was diapers and razors! We need them (especially the diapers)!
We did 2 identical transactions – and all of these items came to $11.98 – average of $1.50 each item!!!!
Here is how we did it (keep in mind that we did this 2 times):
- 1 package of Huggies Diapers, regular price is $10.99, sale for $8.99 – 15% = $7.64 – $2 RR = $ 5.64. Then used $2/1 Parade Magazine 11/29 = final is $3.64.
- 1 package of Pampers Diapers, regular price $10.99 – 15% = $9.34, used $1/1 Walgreens coupon from the 4-page handout = $8.34. Then used $1.50/1 PG 11/29 = final is $6.84.
- 1 Huggies baby wipes, regular price is $2.79 – 15% off = $2.37, used .50/1 Walgreens coupon from the 4-page handout = $1.87. Then used .50/1 SS 11/15 = final is $1.37.
- 1 Gillette Fusion Razor regular price is $9.99 – sale for $8.99 – 15% off = $7.64 – $4 RR =$3.64 = Then used $4/1 PG 11/29 = final is .36 OVERAGE.
The total was at $11.49. Then received $5 back in RR for total being over $25 (before coupons) = Final is $6.49 x 2 transactions = $11.98! This averages out to be $1.50 each item!!! We are going again today as this is an awesome price for diapers!
*As a result of my trips to Walgreens this week, I currently have $28 to spend in RR – yea! You are not able to use previous RR to pay for another of the same item and get more RR. This is why I did not pay for any of the transactions with the previous RR, I will just turn around and use them next week, maybe on more diapers 😉
Need help understanding some coupon lingo, like RR, go HERE!
