Always price check and compare prices with other stores, just because it’s on sale at one store doesn’t mean it isn’t cheaper at the normal price at another…..found this out a LOT price matching at wal-mart
How true that tip is. So often it can be easy to think that because an item is “on sale” that its the lowest price you can get in town. If you do your homework (like many of your also said) and be patient you can often find the same item cheaper at another store even at normal price. We won’t get too excited, but please know we loved the tips. If you can’t wait for our post then check out all of your thrifty tips.

WOOT! LOL and my tip is so true….the first few times I did price matching at walmart it was a mixture of sad and funny because of half the stuff on my list to price match grocery store sales with the stuff at walmart, the normal prices at walmart were cheaper than the sale prices at the grocery stores that I thought were really good prices
BUT you also have to keep in mind…well is there a coupon somewhere for it? because most grocery stores double and triple coupons to a certain amount….so you have to see if the sale price PLUS if you have a coupon is cheaper than price matching at a store that doesn’t double/triple coupons……
But I’m rambling now LOL Lord knows I bore my poor Hubby to death rambling about coupons and sales LOL
