This is a fun treat to make and share anytime of the year, but especially spring and summer! A Chocolate Mint Garden Parfait is a lot of fun and uses real mint as a mock edible planter or seedling! It is fun for any reason, occasion, party or gathering. It can be perfect for a ladies tea, a garden party, to a little girls birthday party and every reason in between!

And just like a lot of recipes we share, it is fun, easy and frugal to make – but delivers a WOW factor! The presentation is so pretty and fun and the taste is just as awesome.

It can also be a fairly quick treat to make.

Ingredients for Chocolate Mint Garden Parfaits Dessert Recipe:

  • 2 – 3.9 oz. boxes chocolate pudding mix and required ingredients
  • 1 package chocolate sandwich cookies
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Additional Materials: 4 Half-pint mason jars (we recommend glass/clear so that you can see the garden soil layers :))

Here’s how to makeChocolate Mint Garden Parfaits Dessert Recipe:

4. Add a generous quarter-cup of chocolate pudding to each jar (enough to fill about halfway).

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4, and top with a final layer of crumbled cookies to create the appearance of dirt.

6. Poke a few sprigs of fresh mint leaves into the top of each parfait, creating a little “seedling.”

Serve chilled! Yummy! If you are not serving right away, keep in the fridge with the fresh mint aside and then add the fresh mint when serving.

Think about all of the fun reasons and ways you could serve this delicious and themed dessert! Too much fun and so much YUM!

Instead of mint, you could also use gummy worms.
