I’m still working on the files and piles. Tomorrow will be catch up day. My purses are in fairly good order.

I have put day 2 challenge on hold because of my husband. As I have said before that is domain and I have been told hands off! I keep my purse and in this case–my backpack organized and clean so I am ahead on this one. Any advice as how to approach my husband to let me help him with his desk….just a thought???

I’m a man minimalist, my husband is a pack rat. His desk is always a mess & it’s the one area I don’t touch except to dust.

First I had to accept that it’ll never be the way I’d like to see it. I’ve discovered that if I say nothing about it, but focus instead on doing cleaning & organizing in other rooms he feels the need to make an attempt at his desk. It’s especially effective when I ask him to do a few small things to help me. He appreciates the work I do then & feels guilty, inspired- not sure which.

Day 1: We don’t have a desk, but we did clean up Tax paperwork and filed that away. The exception is 2 mailings from the taxation office. We will take these with us on Sunday, as that is where we can file the two items.
Day 2: We have a box of shredding. Since we live in our RV year round, we need to borrow, steal or rent a shredder. Our business files are up to date, the RV Maintenance log and Mileage Log are also up to date. Catalogues, brochures, flyers have been recycled.
Day 3: We went through our backpacks, computer cases, and my purse last week and put the purse through the washer/dryer. The others were wiped out.

I am working very hard to get all projects completed, as created Christmas tree ornaments (beads), Christmas stitching (minis/pictures/banners/towels/pillowcases, etc.)and the wood Christmas ornaments to be painted. Also have a contract to stitch the wedding date on 7 tea towels that have the flowers at the wedding already stitched.
I do hope there is a mending day, kitchen cupboard day and closet day!
