We hope each day creates a little more motivation and transformation in your home and life! It will be so nice to have our homes organized and transformed before the next busy season of our life starts!

Time to get a bit of work done today!

Day #13 Challenge – Organize Under the Bathroom Sink

I love containers and ziploc bags for organizing.  They have worked for me as a quick, last minute solution for a long time.

So that is how I organize under my bathroom sink.  Over the years, I have collected many containers and baskets that get repurposed for many different things depending on our organizational needs.

So, under my bathroom sink is a very famous place for the containers.

It got pretty crazy under here! As you can see, even though I do and have used containers, they still need to be organized again eventually!

So that’s what I did.  This time I also used ziplocs and repurposed the blue container like a file box of ziplocs.  Basically, this is the box that has the ziplocs housing the samples, the mini-shampoo/conditioners, extra first aid items, etc.  Remember how I mentioned when I was cleaning out the drawers how I was putting a lot of that stuff into ziplocs by category.  Well, here’s their home.  I am hoping that when things come into our home, instead of just getting thrown in drawers, we can open this cupboard and drop it into the right ziploc in the blue box.

Then on the left, I have a sliding drawer container, this is where the extra items the kids need are (extra toothbrushes, extra toothpaste, extra hair care, etc.). Then on top of that is an easily accessible container filled with home medical care stuff so that no matter the ailment we are dealing with, I can pull out this container and get the care that is needed.

So hopefully now this will be more accessible, stay more organized and be a very practical functioning space in our home!

How is your challenge going? What tips do you have for a more organized bathroom?

I used wire shelving under my sink to allow me to double my space. Plus I used a cutlery holder from the Dollar Tree to organize my one drawer in the bathroom. My challenge is to keep the counter clean!

Great tips Michele! Love it! For the counter tops, here’s one trick that we learned from a professional cleaner/organizer: https://thethriftycouple.com/2014/01/27/be-intentional-challenge-7-clean-your-bathroom-counters-and-daily-wipe-down/
