Mega Swagbucks Friday – Labor Day Style

Today is such an exciting Friday – It is the start of an extended weekend, then Fun Fabulous Friday for the $10 Amazon gift card and finally MEGA SWAGBUCKS FRIDAY!

Read up on what Swagbucks is from our original post on what this Swag thing is all about. Then get started with earning Swagbucks and maybe pay for some of Christmas this year with your rewards.

So, far, we have been using Swagbucks for a several months now and have earned enough points for = hundreds in FREE Amazon.com gift cards. Fun Fabulous Friday – Labor Day Fun Tips

It is Friday and the start of an extended weekend with the upcoming holiday! YAY! We are set for a weekend of fun and hope you are too. With Friday also comes Fun Fabulous Friday here on The Thrifty Couple.

I am not entirely sure what a “wrinkle test strip” is, but at any regard, enjoy a FREE sample of it! Is ts a test to see how many wrinkles you have (seems odd), or is it a product to get rid of wrinkles, etc.?!? It is good there is a sample so I can see exactly what it is. Daily Dose of Thrifty: Conditioner as a Shaving Cream

Can’t seem to get your shaving cream at a super price? Or have you run out of it on your shelves? I have been in this bind on a number of occasions. But one thing we seem to always have is cheap conditioner! Whether V05, Suave or other very affordable brand. Especially when those conditioners were purchased on a coupon and sale at a rock bottom price!

Well these conditioners actually make for a very luxurious and comfortable shave! There is a “key” word in the product that makes it so perfect for a thrifty shave! That word is CONDITIONER! This magic word not only leaves your hair soft, but also leaves the places with a lack of hair soft too! The shave goes very smoothly too! I actually have a friend who is a cosmetologist and she shaves with conditioner as a norm – she actually prefers it over shaving cream regardless of the savings!

An additional benefit that I have noticed – not only can we get the cheap conditioners….. well cheap, but they will go a lot further than the cans of shaving cream! A standard bottle of Suave conditioner usually lasts me 2-3 times longer than a standard can of shaving cream! So not only is it much cheaper than the can, it will last me longer! So no need for expensive shave products here!

So maybe reconsider buying those cheap conditioners that you thought you might not have a need for. Plus who can argue with super soft legs

GREAT NEWS!! The 30% subscribe and save option is still going on the diapers on Amazon!

Several weeks ago we read somewhere (in two places in fact!) on Amazon that the 30% subscribe and save was ending on 8/31. It is usually a 15% subscribe and save option and the extra 15% (30%) was for a limited time, in which we thought that it was 8/31. But for whatever reason, we are not complaining a bit and are excited to see it still going!

So if you are in need of diapers, now is the time still If you can round up more coupon codes from current magazines. Then you will score even better deals and get diapers for pennies!
