Target released a coupon for $5 off a $30 purchase of Children’s Clothing! I just went there this afternoon to see what kinds of deals we could get with this coupon to tell you about it!

Well, the coupon does not have an exclusion from clearance clothing – so that is where my a my girls headed – the clearance racks! I had 2 coupons (you can print twice) but you can only use 1 per transaction.  I actually did one transaction after the other to maximize the savings.

I purchased $60 in clearance clothing and bought some items for this summer, but mostly for next year for all 4 kids! And if you have been reading our blog for very long, we have bins for the upcoming seasons filled with new clothing that we pull out each new season! It is like shopping from home, but I purchase a year/season ahead as it is cheapest! Anyway, I ended up with an additional $10 off the clearance prices!

Wow, this is unintentionally becoming the Rite Aid Post Day! I put up a post over the weekend for a Rite Aid preview, but I also wanted to start adding a new list each week from the short ad that we receive here in Utah.  My friend Jodi from My SLC Mommy has put together a list of the best Rite Aid deals using our short Utah ad! What I mean by “short Utah ad” is that we receive a smaller version of the regular ad that circulates throughout the country.  It seems as if we are missing a page or two! Same thing happens with the Walgreens ad here in Utah as well. At any rate, sometimes it can be frustrating to see a great deal out there and then realize it is not happening here!

A couple of extra things that I wanted to mention that is going on at Rite Aid right now:

• Sign up for My Rite Aid (new email addresses only) and you will receive $55 worth of Rite Aid coupons – including a $5/25 purchase coupon!

• Rite Aid video values has extra product coupons, PLUS if you spend about 20 minutes watching videos, you can earn a $5/$20 purchase coupon to print. This is only 1 time per month!

• Coupon for $3 off a $15 purchase at Rite Aid. Expires on 3/31/10 so we can use it all month!

• Coupon for $5/$25 purchase at Rite Aid.

Here I am working on the weekly diaper deals again and Rite Aid has yet another great week and sale to buy diapers! Rite Aid has a sale on Pampers jumbo packs on sale PLUS there is a P&G promotion going on right now, if you purchase $30 worth of particpating P&G products, you will receive a $10 Rite Aid gift card – essentially a 33% savings! So I am going to show how to maximize this promotions with diapers and wipes of course!!

How to Maximize if Pampers Cruisers are included:

• Buy 3 Pampers Cruisers Diapers for $9.99 = $29.97
• As we will be .03 short of the $30 threshold, we will add wipes too. Buy 1 for $2.49 = $32.46
• Then use 3 $2/1 Pampers Cruisers PG 2/21 – $6 = $26.46
• Then use 1 .50/1 Pampers wipes PG 2/7 = $25.96
• Then use the $5/$20 Video Values or $5/$25 (Thanks Hip2Save!) =  $20.96
• Then qualify to receive the $10 Rite Aid gift card, so when considering this discount – $10 = final is $10.96 for 4 items or $2.74 each!!

How to Maximize if Pampers Cruisers are NOT included:

• Buy 3 Pampers Baby Dry Diapers for $9.99 = $29.97
