This is a simple, tasty, frugal recipe that you can make in a bind and have a wonderful, filling meal for your family!

Ingredients
For the Meat:
  • 2 Pounds meat strips
  • 4 Tbsps olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For the Couscous:
  • ½ Cup couscous
  • 1 Cup water
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp butter
Side:
  • ½ Cup parsley leaves
  • 1 Cup black olives
Instructions
For the Meat:
  1. Place the meat in a bowl and mix it with the Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan, and transfer the meat.
  3. Cook over medium for 8 minutes or until desired doneness.
For the Couscous:
  1. In a pot add the water, oil, and salt to a pot. Bring to boil.
  2. Remove from the heat, add the couscous and let it swell for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the butter and stir and cook over low heat for 2 minutes.
Serve:
  1. Serve the couscous in bowls with the meat, black olives, and parsley.
  2. Enjoy.
Notes
For a gluten free dish, swap the couscous for rice or quinoa
