Recipe type: Dessert
Serves: 8
Ingredients
  • 1 standard graham cracker crust (make it yourself or buy pre-made for .97 at most stores)
  • 1 10 oz bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • Dash of salt
  • 2 whisked eggs
  • Peeps to line the top
Instructions
  1. Add the milk and cream to a saucepan and warm up the ingredients on med-low heat. You don't want it to boil, just get warm.
  2. Once warm, add the bag of chocolate chips and whisk until they are melted and the mixture is completely liquid.
  3. Whisk in the vanilla and salt.
  4. Then whisk in the eggs slowly.
  5. Once it is mixed well, pour it into your graham cracker crust.
  6. Bake in the oven at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes or until the pie stops jiggling.
  7. Pull it out and let it set for at least 20 mins.
  8. Once a little cooler, line the top of the pie with Peeps Bunnies (Chicks work too, but they will most likely be crispy and burned on the beaks and heads. But some like burned marshmallows!)
  9. Pop this in the oven on broil at 450 degrees and broil for about 4-6 minutes or until the peeps are toasty.
  10. Pull it out and let is set for at least another 20 mins before serving, but you can also serve cold after refrigeration. It is entirely up to you and your party if you like it warm or cold, the flavor is amazing either way!
