While your biscuits are baking, you will want to make your gravy from the SOS mix.
Once you make your white gravy, you want to add the sausage crumbles and stir until warmed and well mixed!
Then just "scoop" your gravy onto a plate over the biscuit and ladle gravy over the top and enjoy!
Notes
For the biscuits:
Quick Homemade Biscuits Recipe Ingredients: ◦ 2 cups of flour (or gluten-free flour recipe found at TheThriftyCouple.com/recipe-gallery) ◦ 1 TBSP of baking powder ◦ ½ tsp salt ◦ ½ cup of shortening ◦ ¾ cup of milk
To Make Homemade Biscuits: • Mix flour, salt and baking powder • Then cut in the shortening with a fork until it's coarse and crumbly • Then add the milk and mix until the dough is soft and sticks together • Dump the mix onto a floured surface and toss in the flour until the dough is soft and not sticky • Roll the dough out and cut with a biscuit cutter.... or what I do - a glass. • Keep rolling out the dough from the bits left until you have no more dough and just biscuit shapes • Put on ungreased baking sheet about 1" apart and bake for 10 minutes at 450 degrees (until golden brown)
Quicker: Make drop biscuits (not quite as fluffy, but still just as tasty) by following the ingredients and directions above, but instead of making biscuits, just drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet.
Quickest: Use canned, store-bought biscuits.
