Safeway is also running a coupon promotion right now. Their event is a double coupon event – all coupons will be doubled up to $1.00! This means if you have a .25 = .50, .40 = .80, .50 = $1.00, .75 = $1.00 etc. This has been verified for Colorado stores, but you will want to verify it with your local Safeway.

Smiths has brought back the doubles coupon event again – it is going on now through August 31st! Smiths is a NW affiliate of Kroger stores – check your ad to see if there is a coupon event at your Kroger affiliate. Last time, while our Kroger affiliate, Smiths, was increasing coupons to $1.00 – other Kroger affiliates across the nation were doubling and even tripling coupons! If there is one going on in your area – leave us a comment and let us know which Kroger or affiliate of Kroger!
The event is a non-traditional one in that a coupon is not just simply doubled, but instead any coupon that is less than $1 in value will automatically be worth $1.00! Any coupon that is $1.00 or over will remain at it’s face value!
