FREE Diabetes Medication and Doctor Visits with $1,000 Compensation for Diabetes Study

This post may contain affiliate links. Please read our disclosure policy here.

by thriftycas on January 28, 2012

We are posting this opportunity knowing it could only be applicable to some of you. But for those it is applicable for, it could be a way for you to receive free diabetes medication and treatment by participating in the study.  It is completely free for you to be a part of it.

But this study is even better as they will also pay you for your time and so you can receive compensation up to $1,000.  From what we understand about medical studies, you usually receive all care and medication for free, but rarely also get compensated beyond your expenses! So this seems like a really good deal to mention for those of you that have diabetes or those that might suspect that they do.  You do not need to have insurance, so it can also be a good option especially if you do not!  This is a local study with your local doctors.

Here’s the information posted about this study:

If you qualify for a local research study, you may receive:

  • Compensation up to $1,000
  • Free study-related diabetes medication
  • Free confidential care from a local doctor
  • Diet and exercise counseling

They are accepting applicants through this online application HERE.  It will close as soon as they have enough qualified applicants.

If you or someone you know has or may have diabetes, this may be worth taking a few minutes to look into.

Make $1 Buying Robitussin Medicine with New Coupon

This post may contain affiliate links. Please read our disclosure policy here.

by thriftycas on January 24, 2012

Want an easy way to make $1.00 and get FREE cold medicine for this time of year?  Then here’s an easy deal for you!

There is a new coupon for $3 off ANY 2 Robitussin products with no size restriction!  This means better than FREE Robitussin To Go from Walmart. You can find these in the checkstands (our store had them in 3 of the 20 checkstands) with the price tag of only $1.00 each = final is FREE plus an extra $1.00 to apply to something else or to receive as  money back!

This is a great product to keep in your car’s first aid kit, or in a diaper bag for those emergencies.

Just for clarification: Walmart does state the following in their most recent coupon policy found on the Walmart site:

“If coupon value exceeds the price of the item, the excess may be given to the customer as cash or applied toward the basket purchase.”

So according to their policy, you should have no problems receiving your $1.00 OVERAGE!  AND…. print the Robitussin coupon twice and you can get four for FREE and a total of $2.00 overage!

This same product should be found in your local Walmart, but they are a bit tricky to find.  They are not with the medicines, but in the checkstand section – however, only a couple of the checkstands will have this product (each checkstand in the store has different items) and so you might have to really look around, but by doing so, you can get some FREEBIES and lower your bill too!

Check out these helpful links to help you save more money!
