It’s nearly 2015! A new year is always a great time to make some new goals, starts and challenges for yourself and your family. Last year, we introduced this 52-week money saving plan to easily build $1,378 in your savings account on top of your other goals.
It was a VERY successful year for hundreds of our readers and this was a very fun and popular challenge that we wanted to post a reminder for 2015. This is a great challenge for any and all to participate in. They are weekly attainable money saving goals.
First, you can read about the challenge we previously posted with the free download tracker HERE and decide how you want to save. Last year, a group that we spoke to made money jars after our talk to help get set-up and motivated to start their savings plan. They took glass jars (reuse pickle jars or canning jars) and they took the download and shrunk it and glued it on the jar. Then they covered the top or lid with fabric and cut a slot to place the money in!
They turned out so cute. That’s one way to keep it at the forefront of your mind!
Second, after hearing from many of you about how you adjusted this savings plan to work with your budget and to easily work with your income stream, we posted an update to this post sharing 7 Modifications to the 52-Week Savings Plan HERE.
