What a great idea! I so wish I had seen something like this when my girls were babies!
I have always been able to buy plain white or solid color onesies for a very cheap price, even brand new, and just coupled them with cute patterened pants.
But this is so much cooler!
- It’s cheap to make with just an extra strip of fabric in approximately 42″ x 8.5″ (varies depending on size too!)
- It only requires basic sewing skills (which is what I need!)
- It takes 10 minutes
- It is unique, adorable and fun!
So, you can make these for your own baby, but think about how cool of a baby gift this would be? Handmade clothing was always our most treasured gifts!
If you were to buy a pack of 3 -5 onesies for around $5-$6 and then coordinating strips of fabric in 42″ x 8.5″ sizes (approximately), and 1-hour, then you can have 3-5 cute and unique baby gifts for under $10!
