This is a sample from a previous organic basket!
Wow, it’s been since the beginning of June that we have participated in our produce co-op! Just like we have explained many times before, we use Bountiful Baskets in the late Autumn, Winter and Spring months as the value is good and the value is there. But once summer hits, until early Autumn, we buy from many numerous farmer’s markets and farmers in the area. Well, we are heading out of that season now and so it is time to turn back to Bountiful Baskets and this is our first order this next year!
We almost always upgrade our basket for $10 to an organic one. A conventional basket of 50% fruits and 50% veggies is $15 or $25 for an organic basket. We do this if our budget allows, but since most of our budget is dedicated to the fresh foods, we can usually fit it in!
They also will have many other options and so this time we also included the Italian Pack that we have bought in previous orders and found it to be wonderful!
Here’s our order this week!
The only thing we were disappointed about is that the handling fee is now $2.50 instead of $1.50, but it is still a great deal!
If you want to see if they are available in your area too, then…
Head to Bountiful Baskets HERE and choose your state and then a pick-up location closest to you from the drop-down menu.
If Bountiful Baskets is not in your state yet, either contact them to see what they need to start one or keep watching for them to open up in your state too! They are rapidly growing and rapidly opening other states. We have been fortunate to have been the first state and so we have been able to do this for quite some time!
*Please note, you only have until tomorrow night (Tuesday, November 5th) at 10pm PST to order your produce for this week for pick-up on Saturday at a local location!
